As a die-hard gamer, I’m super excited about the latest development from my favorite MOBA, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), created by MOONTON Games. They’re working on their 130th hero, and it’s none other than Obsidia, the Sovereign of Dark’s End! She’s a new female Marksman character, with connections to Alice, Thamuz, and Selena, although her complete backstory is still under wraps. So, let’s delve into all the details we have so far about this upcoming hero in MLBB!
Mobile Legends Obsidia: Hero Overview
Here’s a more conversational and engaging way to present the information:
Get ready for our latest addition to the roster, the impressive marksman hero named Obsidia! This character boasts an exceptional passive ability that amplifies all three of his skills on the fly, providing you with a significant edge in battle. Plus, he’s equipped with a suite of potent skills designed to let you rule the field with ease. Let’s dive into the details of Obsidia’s skill set based on recent leaks!

Abilities
In a simplified form, during its basic attacks, Obsidia deals 2 points of physical damage and gains an additional 50 (+50% of the total physical attack) physical damage as an effect.
Passive: Return to the Bone
- Obsidia gains 3/1 bone fragments by dealing damage to enemy heroes or non-hero units, excluding Creeps. You get 20 Bone Shards for every 5 bone fragments, up to 1. Similar to Aamon, when you damage an enemy, all of these shards will automatically strike them, each dealing 20 Phy damage and inheriting 10 Attack Effects (+10% total Phy Damage Attack).
- Additionally, each time you kill a different hero, you’ll gain 10% Bone Shards. Once you collect enough, her three skills are enhanced accordingly. If you hold more than 1 Bone Shards, the Wrath of Bone skill becomes unstable, and upon death, you lose 10 Bone Shards.
First Skill: Bone Needle
- AOE Skill, Damage.
- CD: 5.0s.
- Normal: You can deal 350 Phy Damage (+100% Total Phy Attack) by firing the Bone Needle skill at an enemy hero (first target). And it also triggers her passive if it hits any enemy.
- Enhanced: When enhanced with 5 Bone Shards, the skill evolves to Abyssal Bone Needle, which can pierce through enemies, damaging all enemies in its path.
Second Skill: Shadowmeld
- Speed-Up Skill (Buff)
- CD: 4.5s/4.2s/3.9s/3.6s/3.3s/3.0s
- Normal: She descends into the Abyss, entering the Shadowmeld state similar to how Selena transforms. She gains 100% Movement Speed for 0.3s. However, if you use any skills or do Basic Attacks, it will cancel this skill.
- Enhanced: When enhanced with 12 Bone Shards, it also grants an untargetable status during that specific duration, making her immune.
Ultimate: Wrath of Bone
- AOE Skill (Buff)
- CD: 30s/27s/24s
- Base Damage: 200/300/400
- Bone Shards Flight Speed: 30%/45%/60%
- Normal: By using her Ultimate, she unleashes a Feast of Bone, which instantly deals 200 Phy Damage (+50% Total Phy Attack) to all nearby enemies. You also gain 1 temporary Bone Shard for every enemy hero that gets hit.
- Enhanced: Wrath of Bone is enhanced at 20 Bone Shards, and you now gain 2 temporary Bone Shards for each enemy hero hit, and the total number of Bone Shards can temporarily exceed the base limit.
Mobile Legends Obsidia: Skill Analysis and Hero Overview
Based on her abilities, it seems clear that Obisida is a formidable Markswoman who excels at dealing area-of-effect damage while maintaining agility and making use of beneficial skill modifiers. With this understanding in mind, let’s delve into the new hero’s skills.

By utilizing her passive ability, you’ll experience an enhancement in damage output, which operates much like Julian’s skill upgrade system. This passive ability causes Obsidia’s skills to develop and improve based on the number of Bone Shards accumulated. To fully unleash Obsidia’s capabilities, it is recommended that you amass a significant amount of Bone Shards, as this will optimize the efficiency of her skills.
Examining her initial ability, it seems to be a wide-area crossbow shot that inflicts damage on nearby enemies, and has an incredibly short cooldown of merely 5 seconds. Furthermore, if you manage to hit an enemy with this attack, it also activates her passive. When upgraded, she can perform a penetrating shot that damages all enemies, similar to Moskov’s basic attack.

Her second ability is what could make her a particularly annoying hero to face off against, as it is this skill that will set her apart. In her Shadowmeld disguise, she can swiftly move around and even pass through adversaries, giving the impression of speed running. However, it’s the improved version of this ability that makes it so overpowered, providing her with invulnerability during its duration.
To summarize, her final ability is a broad area-of-effect buff skill that inflicts damage on surrounding enemies. This attack resembles Alice’s move, although the detailed visual representation is still under development. Additionally, you collect Bone Shards with this skill. When upgraded, it not only efficiently gathers Bone Shards but also eliminates the limitation on stacking. Given these characteristics, Obsidia could potentially be an overpowered ranged character if used strategically.
How could Kalea hold up against the current meta
Following a thorough examination of Obsidia’s abilities, it seems she would excel as a versatile and impactful Marksman, particularly during team battles and the current game environment. Her reliable area-of-effect damage and improved skills that amplify with Bone Shards make her a force to be reckoned with in any encounter. In team fights, she can swiftly eliminate opponents using her Ultimate and boosted initial skill.
When combined with an effective team, she transforms into a formidable adversary, boasting exceptional mobility, resilience, and quick cooldown abilities. By skillfully distributing her shards and maintaining keen battlefield awareness, you can effortlessly rule the field. However, be cautious against enemies with heavy crowd control and bursty Assassins.
When will Obsidia release in the MLBB Original Server
At present, Obsidia is still under active development, and a release date has not been disclosed yet. Before she appears on the main server, she will first be tested on the Advanced Server. Keep an eye out here for further updates regarding her debut.
