The latest update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, called Project Next 2025 Patch, has arrived! It introduces a new Ranked season and a powerful new hero named Obsidia. Obsidia is a strong, chase-focused marksman who can both attack enemies and protect herself with a unique passive ability. This guide will show you the best way to build Obsidia, including the optimal emblem, spell, and item build, along with helpful tips to help you win with her in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Skill Analysis
Passive: Return to Bone
Obsidia collects Bone Energy by damaging enemies. Once she has enough, it forms into a Bone Shard. She can have up to 25 Bone Shards at a time. With every basic attack, Obsidia directs all of her Bone Shards to hit the enemy.
First Skill: Abyssal Bone Needle
Obsidia fires an Abyssal Bone Needle, inflicting Physical Damage and applying the Return to Bone effect to the first enemy it hits.
Second Skill: Phantom Shadowmeld
Obsidia enters Shadowmeld Form, greatly increasing her Movement Speed.
Third Skill: Abyssal Bone Needle
Obsidia fires an Abyssal Bone Needle, which deals physical damage. If it hits an enemy hero, that hero is affected by Return to Bone.
Skill-up method for Obsidia
When playing as Obsidia, focus on leveling up her Skill 1 first. Then, upgrade her Skill 2 and her Ultimate ability as soon as you can.
Best Emblem Set and Spells for Obsidia in Mobile Legends Bang Bang
Emblem Setup
Obsidia is a strong hero who excels at long-range attacks, protecting her allies, and performing well in team battles. To help you get the most out of her, we’ve put together some recommended Emblem and Talent combinations to make her even more effective.

We strongly recommend playing Obsidia in the Gold lane. To maximize her damage, the Marksman Emblem is a great choice. Here are the best talents to select when setting up your emblem:
- In the First Tier Talent, pick Swift as it grants bonus Attack speed for Obsidia.
- In the Second Tier Talent, pick Magic Shop as it reduces the costs of equipment to 90% of their normal price. This will allow Obsidia to farm and easily scale through early on.
- In the Third Tier Talent, pick Weakness Finder as it slows down enemies hit by Obsidia’s attacks.
Battle Spells
- While using Obsidia, you should equip the Purify spell, as it cancels out crowd control inflicted onto Obsidia. This will boost her overall survivability especially when faced with high CC enemies.
- Vengeance is another advisable Spell to use, as it allows you to survive more especially when you’re using your ult to lock onto an enemy.
Best Equipment Build for Obsidia in Mobile Legends
Obsidia’s ideal equipment build focuses on survivability with lifesteal, faster attacks, and strong burst damage, letting her quickly defeat enemies throughout the match. Here’s a recommended build to maximize her effectiveness:
- Tough Boots: Provides extra movement speed and Magic defense, more importantly it provides extra Control-time reduction. Allowing Obsidia to survive more when facing High CC comps.
- Haas Claws: This item greatly boosts Obsidia’s Lifesteal allowing her to sustain a lot especially when her passive ability is fully stacked.
- Windtalker: Greatly boosts Obsidia’s attack speed while granting her Critical attack to melt down enemies early on.

- Berserker’s Fury: This item grants lots of Critical Attack, thus allowing you to burst down squishy enemies more easily.
- Malefic Gun: Build this item for extra Physical Penetration and additional range to hit enemies from afar.
- Rose Gold Meteor : Generates Shield when Obsidia’s HP is low, thus increasing her survivability during core teamfights.
Mobile Legends Obsidia Build Guide Gameplay Tips
Obsidia is a powerful, long-range attacker who excels at both chasing down enemies and protecting her teammates. Her ultimate ability lets her lock onto opponents, limiting their movement and dealing significant damage.
Analyzing her gameplay reveals three distinct phases. However, success with any hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) depends on knowing the map well. This guide provides a complete strategy for playing Obsidia effectively throughout the early, mid, and late game.
Early Game
Start by learning your first skill and heading to the Gold lane. Focus on efficiently earning gold early on by using your skill and regular attacks to build up stacks for your passive ability. Obsidia should aim to quickly maximize her passive by attacking both enemy champions and minions, or even turrets, as a fully charged passive will give her a strong advantage in lane.

When playing Obsidia, focus on consistently using her second skill to safely harass the enemy in the gold lane. Remember that hitting enemies with her first skill builds up her passive ability, so prioritize farming minions, poking opponents, and staying safe during the early game. This skill combination will help you maximize Obsidia’s potential at the beginning of the match.
Skill 1 + Basic Attacks + Skill 2
Mid Game
Obsidia really comes into her own during the mid and late parts of the game. She excels at safely damaging enemies from a distance and protecting her teammates. Her ultimate ability, Abyssal Bone Needles, is key – it tethers to an enemy, slowing them down and letting you consistently deal damage and keep them away from allies.
Use your first two skills along with your ultimate for a powerful combination of fast movement and high damage. For maximum effect, build up your passive ability’s stacks *before* using your ultimate to quickly target an enemy and deal a lot of damage all at once.
Late Game
As a huge Obsidia fan, I’ve found she really shines later in the game – she’s great at both taking control of objectives *and* protecting our team from enemy attacks. When our roaming player starts a fight, I try to lock onto whoever is most dangerous – a mobile enemy or their main damage dealer – and just burst them down. And here’s a key tip: Obsidia’s ultimate completely shuts down blink abilities! That gives us a massive advantage against heroes who rely on teleporting around, making it way easier to keep them locked down and finish them off.

Remember to focus on staying alive while working with your teammates – like the roamer, fighter, or mage – to start important fights. Also, team up with your Jungler to take down powerful objectives like the Lord and quickly eliminate enemy players.
