Passive – Ame no Habakiri (Buff)
Hanzo’s basic attacks and abilities cause a build-up of “Dark Shadow Technique” on the enemy, up to a maximum of 5 stacks. The ability “Demon Feast” can only be activated on targets who have fully stacked “Dark Shadow Technique”.
Skill 1 – Ninjutsu: Demon Feast (Burst)
The ability can function exclusively on targets that have the maximum number of stacks for Dark Ninjutsu. If the objective is a Common Creep, Hanzo will swiftly consume them and gradually restore 20% of his health over a period. Attacking enemy heroes causes Physical Damage, while attacking a Lord or Turtle inflicts True Damage amounting to 500 points.
Hanekage Form Skill 1: Forbidden Ninjutsu: Soul Snatch
Hanzo swiftly charges towards an adversary hero, inflicting Physical Damage on the primary target and nearby units after a short pause. Every stack of Dark Ninjutsu on the target amplifies the damage by 20%. Once the target has the maximum number of stacks of Dark Ninjutsu, it delivers extra damage equivalent to 15% of the hero’s Maximum Health, and Hanzo restores 30% of his HP in the process.
Skill 2 – Ninjutsu: Dark Mist (AOE, Slow)
Hanzo swiftly moves towards his chosen target, trailing a misty path behind him that periodically inflicts Physical Damage on nearby foes for up to five instances, with each impact occurring approximately every half second.
The Dark Mist slows enemies in the area by 40% and grants Hanzo 20% Movement Speed.
Hanekage Form Skill 2: Forbidden Ninjutsu: Black Mist (AoE) (CC)
Hanekage charges forward, momentarily lifting foes in his wake off their feet and leaving a trail of shadowy fog behind him. This fog lingers in the space he traverses, periodically dishing out Physical Damage to nearby adversaries every half second for up to five instances.
The Dark mist slows enemies in the area by 40%.
Skill 3 – Kinjutsu: Pinnacle Ninja (Morph, Mobility)
In the heat of battle, Hanzo transforms into Hanekage, expending 12.5 Energy every second. He acquires additional Energy when nearby non-hero units are defeated – gaining 2 Energy points each time. When a hero unit falls, he receives a boost of 20 Energy points. Once Hanzo depletes all his energy, his body begins to move towards the position currently occupied by Hanekage.
In its Hanekage form, Hanzo’s body becomes indestructible, and Hanekage moves swiftly (35% faster) and attacks more quickly (30% faster). When Hanekage is defeated, it swiftly makes its way back to Hanzo’s location, restoring 16% of his health and making him invulnerable during this time. This ability also activates when Hanzo uses the skill again. If Hanekage is defeated while active, Hanzo slows down by 50% and his position is revealed for 6 seconds.

As a gamer, I’d say: Kickstart your gaming session by mastering your initial ability quickly to take down monsters swiftly. Crank up Skill 2 to its maximum level before anything else, as this boosts the damage output significantly, allowing for powerful burst attacks that make defeating targets a breeze. Keep enhancing your first skill accordingly and unleash your Ultimate whenever it’s ready for action!
Best Emblem Set and Spells for Hanzo in Mobile Legends
Emblem Set
In the game, Hanzo is a formidable and sometimes irritating assassin hero who can swiftly take out backline mages and marksmen. Moreover, he’s adept at stealing enemy buffs. Since the recent update on the Custom Assassin Emblem, I’ve found myself enjoying the opportunity to choose from three distinct abilities. Here’s how I usually set up Hanzo’s emblem configuration:
1. Agility Talent for increased movement speed and mobility.
2. Precision Talent for better accuracy and critical hit chances.
3. Resilience Talent for improved survivability in intense battles.
This setup allows me to excel in the areas of agility, precision, and resilience, making me a more formidable Hanzo on the battlefield.
- In the First-tier Talent, we will suggest Rupture for physical penetration it will help Hanzo in the early game to give some damage to the enemy heroes.
- In the Second-Tier Talent, we will suggest Wilderness Blessing. It will increase by 15% movement speed in the jungle and river. Hanzo can easily rotate and can gank other lanes.
- In the Third-Tier Talent, we will suggest Weakness Finder. It reduces enemies’ movement and attack speed.
Battle Spells
For Hanzo, we strongly suggest employing the spell known as Retribution. In the updated laning setup, it’s crucial that you utilize Retribution throughout the game to ensure victory. Without casting Retribution, you won’t be able to purchase any jungle items.
In the new laning system, Hanzo should exclusively use Retribution. This is vital for carrying the entire game and it’s impossible to buy jungle items without using Retribution.
Best Builds for Hanzo in Mobile Legends
Hanzo is known for being one of the quickest junglers in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, thanks to his ability to swiftly take down jungle creatures and minions with his skills. Unlike before, the revamped Hanzo doesn’t solely depend on attack speed items. However, we have devised an optimal build for Hanzo that you can utilize during gameplay.
Begin crafting the “Magic Shoes” using the “Ice Hunter’s Retribution.” The enchanted shoes will boost your movement speed and decrease your cooldown times. For your second item, consider equipping the “Corrosion Scythe,” which enhances physical attacks, provides movement speed, and attack speed. As for your third choice, opt for the “Demon Hunter Sword” for increased physical attacks and attack speed; it also offers lifesteal. Lastly, you may want to acquire the “Golden Staff” for additional physical attack power and attack speed.
Apart from the fact that an additional 1% critical chance earned translates into a 1% increase in attack speed, let me explain the fifth and sixth items you can choose:
1. The fifth item is Hunter Strike. This item offers physical attack and cooldown reduction, along with some penetration.
