Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Brawl mode is getting a revamp after a long time

Story Highlights

  • Brawl Mode revamp introduces a richer Brawl hero pool with 10 unowned heroes.
  • By performing well, you’ll get temporary Ranked access to heroes during this early access.
  • New hero labels in hero selection shows if a hero is already unlocked for Ranked, or just trial exclusive to Brawl.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is updating its popular Brawl Mode! The changes will include a wider variety of playable heroes, new ways to categorize heroes when choosing them, and other improvements. A limited number of players have already gotten a sneak peek, so let’s take a look at what’s new!

Brawl mode will be now more welcoming to newer players

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang recently let me try out an updated version of its Brawl Mode, and I think it was much needed! Besides Ranked and Magic Chess, Brawl is one of my favorite modes, and it hadn’t been updated in a while.

One of the biggest changes is a much larger selection of heroes available in Brawl, which should be great for players who are just starting out. The game now randomly adds 10 heroes you haven’t unlocked to your pool of options. While this doesn’t change things much for experienced players like me, it will definitely improve the game for newcomers.

You’ll gain 1 day access to unowned heroes in Ranked if you play well in Brawl

Generally, the recent changes seem more helpful for new players than those who have been playing for a while, and that’s a good thing. The updated labels on the hero selection screen now clearly show which heroes you’ve fully unlocked for Ranked play and which are only available as temporary free trials in Brawl mode. I’m not entirely sure how useful this will be, but it should definitely help reduce confusion.

I did appreciate one of the recent updates. If you perform well with a hero in Brawl, you now get access to that hero for 24 hours, even if you haven’t unlocked or purchased it for Ranked play. I think this is a helpful feature and will encourage more people to try out the mode.
