Moana 2 credit scenes explained – how many are there?
As a long-time Disney enthusiast who has watched every single animated film since my childhood, I must say that Moana 2 has truly outshone many of its contemporaries. The cinematic journey of Moana and Maui continues to captivate audiences with its enchanting visuals, heartwarming storytelling, and a dash of humor that only Disney can deliver.
In movie theaters, Moana 2 is now competing fiercely against Wicked and Gladiator II, offering a strong challenge.
In the subsequent Disney film, Moana embarks on a new journey alongside Maui, prompted by an unforeseen communique from her ancestors. If this sequel proves to be as successful as its predecessor, there’s a chance that Moana’s adventures may not come to an end.
As a fellow game enthusiast, you might be curious if there are any hidden treats after the credits roll in Moana 2, similar to how the original film had a cheeky post-credit joke poking fun at The Little Mermaid.
Here’s where you can find assistance! We offer a comprehensive guide for the concluding scene of Moana 2, providing all the essential details such as the number of credit scenes and the events that unfold within each one.
How many credit scenes does Moana 2 have?
We can confirm that Moana 2 has one credit scene to stick around for, which comes mid-credits.
After the end credits roll, there’s no additional content, so feel free to exit without worrying about missing any further details.
If you happened to overlook the part, or simply wish to determine if it’s worth continuing, here’s a summary of what transpires in that section for your perusal.
There are spoilers ahead though if you haven’t seen Moana 2 yet.
Moana 2 post-credit scene explained
Following Moana and Maui successfully removing Nalo’s curse and returning Motufetū to its original position, the final moments shift back to the deity of storms, who clearly expresses his displeasure.
As a devoted admirer, I find myself questioning how Moana managed to reach this enchanting island. Surprisingly, I’m in the company of Matangi, who, being instrumental in her journey, remains mysteriously silent. I can sense that she anticipates Nalo will grant her passage.
Nalo cautions Matangi, implying they’ve barely begun, and just then, the movie’s treasure-hoarding crab, Tamatoa, appears, eager to help because Matangi had embarrassed him too.
It appears that Nalo is not particularly fond of accepting Tamatoa’s assistance, as he destroyed Tamatoa’s ornate shell filled with treasures. Therefore, it seems plausible to infer that the deity does not require his help.
In terms of the future events, perhaps we might witness Nalo coming back with a fierce resolve, potentially in Moana 3 (should there be one).
Moana 2 is out now in cinemas.
