Mo Gilligan and his fiancée, Taia Tulher, were recently seen out and about after news surfaced that they’d had their first baby.

The couple reportedly welcomed a baby during the summer but are keeping the child’s name and gender a secret. This comes just months after it was revealed the comedian, 37, already has a child with a former partner.

On Wednesday evening, they enjoyed a break from parenting and went to the opening of Clays, a new, interactive indoor bar in London’s Soho where you can practice target shooting.

Taia, 28, appeared stylish in a brown waistcoat and coordinating trousers, paired with a black, see-through long-sleeved top.

The new mother finished her outfit with strappy black heels and a quilted Chanel bag, and styled her dark hair in loose curls.

Meanwhile, Mo looked stylish in a black leather jacket, paired with trousers and shiny black Chelsea boots.

Their joint outing came days after Taia opened up about the realities of motherhood.

She posted a collection of photos and videos on Instagram documenting her pregnancy, including a sweet moment of her cradling her new baby at the hospital.

She wrote a detailed message reflecting on the joys and challenges of being a parent, and lovingly praised Mo, describing him as ‘the kindest and strongest soul’.

With music softly playing, Taia penned a heartfelt message: ‘My dearest baby, each night I play this song I composed for you, hoping it will lull you to sleep surrounded by the love I struggle to express in words.’

Holding you close, I wish you experience the same feeling I had when I was held by my mother – a love that’s constant, profound, and shapes your very being. She went on to say: ‘When I feel lost or overwhelmed, you’re always the one who helps me find my direction again. There are times when I’m incredibly exhausted, when everything feels stifling, and when negativity and suffering attempt to overwhelm me, leaving me feeling like I can’t breathe.’

However, I’m reminded that I have you. As I read somewhere before, you aren’t simply the love of my life; you are life itself, returning my love. It’s a beautiful feeling.

I’m also so thankful for your father – he’s truly the kindest and strongest person I know. His consistent love has always been a source of strength for me, and I hope you’ll keep his memory and values with you as you continue to grow.

A source has confirmed to The Sun that Mo and Taia have welcomed their baby and are overjoyed. She gave birth several weeks ago and is now recovering and returning to her everyday routine.

The couple is choosing to share the baby’s gender and name only with their immediate circle of friends and family. However, they have recently announced the baby’s birth to a wider group of people.

Friends of Taia quickly shared their excitement, flooding the comments section of her recent Instagram post with praise, calling her the ‘most beautiful mommy‘.

Writing in Portuguese, they enthusiastically shared: ‘Mommy is so beautiful‘; ‘The most beautiful mother‘; ‘The cutest mom‘; ‘The most beautiful mommy ever!!‘

This is Mo’s second child, following reports that he fathered a son named Rudi during a short-term relationship with Selina Christoforou.

The situation became clear after the model publicly criticized the TV personality for not providing any help, stating he hadn’t shown any interest in their child since the baby was born in January 2024.

In a TikTok video that quickly gained popularity, 35-year-old Selina stated she could count the number of times Mo had visited their child over the past 17 months on her fingers and toes.

She explained what happened, stating: ‘I recently shared a post on Instagram about my son’s father, and just so you know…’

It’s totally understandable if you’re not following my Instagram. Also, people jokingly refer to Mo Gilligan as his “dad”. I’m putting “dad” in quotes because it’s not literal, of course.

I carried that burden for nine difficult months while pregnant and have been raising my son independently ever since.

I mostly didn’t acknowledge him for the first year of his life, and even now, I rarely interact with him – I could count the number of times they’ve met on my hands and feet, honestly. I kept hoping things would improve. I really thought they had to get better.

Rudi, my son, is truly incredible – he’s the most wonderful child. He brings me so much happiness, and I always believed that would be all I needed.

I understand you can’t force someone to be a father, and he was quite upfront about not wanting that responsibility. It seemed like he initially didn’t want children, but perhaps later reconsidered.

Selina reportedly became pregnant after beginning a relationship with Mo, whom she met online. Despite the unexpected news, the careful couple decided to have the baby.

I heard from a source that Mo actually met Selina through social media! They started chatting and then just hung out casually for a few months, it seems. It’s so interesting to learn how these things happen, and I’m really excited for them! The Sun reported it, so it must be true!
