For Spring 2025, Maison Margiela has teamed up with Salomon once more! This time, they’re breathing new life into functional and tech-savvy clothing, giving them a fresh makeover in line with the MM6 design philosophy. The result? A unisex collection that seamlessly blends athletic and leisure wear for an effortless, stylish look.
The capsule marks a fresh phase in partnership with MM6 and Salomon, consistently honoring their mutual philosophy of showcasing cutting-edge designs. This union promises lightweight creations, blending Salomon’s high-tech construction details and innovative fabrics with MM6’s unique aesthetics. The collaboration experiments with proportions in sportswear shapes, giving a relaxed yet edgy appeal to contemporary athletic fashion trends.
The collection includes a variety of apparel pieces such as a sleek, thin windbreaker available in deep black or jadeite, and an updated utilitarian MA-1 bomber jacket made from transparent windproof ripstop material, offering a loose fit and reflective taped seams all over. The T-shirts proudly display the MM6 x Salomon co-branding and humorous Xerox-style artwork of Salomon ACS Pro sneakers around the neck area. These T-shirts are designed to be extremely comfortable, breathable, and made with 3D bio-based polyamide.
The assortment of footwear now includes Salomon’s Road running shoe, the Spectur 2. This fresh addition is crafted with mesh material and comes in two stylish colors: sleek black or translucent “Sea Foam Green.” The revamped XT-4 Mule sneakers are also part of the collection, available in two seasonal hues such as Ultramarine. As for other accessories, the lineup includes baggy shorts made from ripstop fabric, a running cap, and an XT-15 Backpack.
The initial release from the collection will be available on April 17, followed by the second on May 8. These items can be found at selected physical stores as well as online at MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon.
