The champions of MLBB M5, Falcons AP.Bren, do not participate in this event.
- The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 winners, Selangor Red Giants, play at the M6 World Championship 2024. They are real title contenders.
- NIP Flash were 3rd-4th at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 but only 9th-12th at M5 World Championship.
- Fnatic ONIC PH reached 2nd place at the M3 World Championship, but they couldn’t repeat this success after that.
- Falcon Esports, a team from Myanmar, were 5th-8th at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024.
- RRQ Hoshi were 3rd at the M4 World Championship.
