Mission: Impossible 8 Box Office Passes Major Global Milestone & Lands On Tom Cruise’s Highest-Grossing Charts
Following its premiere in cinemas last week, the movie has climbed up an impressive Tom Cruise box office chart. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, this latest addition and possibly final installment of the Mission: Impossible series brings back Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, confronting Gabriel (Esai Morales) and The Entity for the last time. Alongside Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, and Henry Czerny, among others, the film opened to a box office take of $64 million over the weekend, breaking a new franchise record.
Currently, as per Box Office Mojo, “The Final Reckoning” has surpassed $220 million globally. Delving further into box office figures from The Numbers, it’s been established that the most recent “Mission: Impossible” film now ranks among Tom Cruise’s top 25 highest-grossing movies, taking the 23rd spot on the list.
