I was so excited to see Miranda Kerr post an amazing throwback photo! She’s clearly showing her support for all her supermodel friends as they prepare for the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and it got me so hyped for it too!
The Australian model won’t be participating in this year’s show, but she used Instagram on Wednesday to cheer on her friends and post a collection of photos from her past appearances in the lingerie show.
‘Can’t wait to cheer on my girls tonight!’ the 42-year-old captioned her post.
A vintage photo revealed Miranda on the New York City runway in 2012, modeling delicate lingerie adorned with Swarovski crystals and enormous feathered wings that extended high above her head.
A 2006 photo showed the model with toned legs and a flat stomach, wearing a white lingerie set adorned with diamonds.
Miranda made her first appearance for Victoria’s Secret with a winter-inspired look, wearing a fluffy hood, mittens, and leg warmers as she confidently posed on stage.
And then there is the famous Fantasy Treasure Bra, which Miranda wore in 2011.
This incredibly expensive bra, worth US$2.5 million, took more than 500 hours to make. It’s adorned with 142 carats of diamonds, pearls, aquamarines, and citrines.
She combined the expensive lingerie with wings shaped like oysters, creating a look inspired by the ocean for the runway.
The model has appeared in six Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, and in 2007, she earned her Victoria’s Secret Angel wings – becoming the first and only model from Australia to achieve this honor.
Even though Miranda had worked with the brand for many years, she announced she wouldn’t participate in the updated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after a four-year break.
The supermodel walked the runway from 2006 to 2009, then again in 2011 and 2012.
She stopped working with Victoria’s Secret in 2013, well before the company decided to retire its famous Angels models in 2021 and focus on a more diverse and inclusive brand image.
Miranda turned down an invitation to appear in the 2023 Victoria’s Secret World Tour.
She said that when the producers were developing the new show, they contacted her and asked her to return, as she told the Herald Sun.
I had accepted that my time doing that was over, and I was content with that. Then I found out I was pregnant, which felt like everything falling into place.
The model stated she doesn’t regret her collaboration with the fashion label, but is now focusing on new opportunities and a different path forward in her life and career.
Miranda and her husband, Evan Spiegel—the CEO and co-founder of Snapchat—welcomed their son in February 2024.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, already share kids Hart, seven, and Myles, six.
Meanwhile, Miranda shares son Flynn, 14, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
