Dunst is familiar with big-budget franchises, having portrayed Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series alongside Tobey Maguire.

She mentioned her kids, who are fans of the original, played a big role in her decision. Although the studio hasn’t confirmed the sequel yet, it appears that the project is currently being worked on during its initial stages.

Moreover, Dunst shared that, along with her roles in low-budget dramas, she also harbors a desire for financial success. She mused, “Perhaps I could create a film that doesn’t leave me financially in the red?

The blockbuster film “Minecraft” was helmed by director Jared Hess, inspired by Mojang Studios’ widely acclaimed video game. The cast featured Jason Momoa as The Garbage Man, Jack Black portraying Steve, Emma Myers in the role of Natalie, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, Sebastian Hansen as Henry, and Rachel House as Malgosha. Additionally, Matt Berry, Kate McKinnon, and Jemaine Clement were also part of the ensemble.
