MindsEye, the Action Game From Former GTA Director, Gets a June Release Date
Builder “A Rocket Boy”, the studio previously led by ex-GTA director Leslie Benzies, has revealed that their forthcoming action title, titled “Perspective of Mind“, is set to release in June.
The upcoming game MindsEye, developed by IOI Partners (IO Interactive), is set to offer an engaging cinematic action-adventure storyline. The recently released gameplay trailer gives us a glimpse into the game’s backdrop – the cityscape of Redrock.
In simple terms, Redrock City can be characterized as a bustling, technology-driven desert metropolis set in the not-too-distant future. Here, robots perform routine tasks for consumers, while an intricate network of devices, always present, monitor everything. The heart of this city is a power struggle between the Tech Giants and the Government.
The video presents Marco Silva, an unusual tech visionary, attempting to alter the direction of human development, and Shiva Vega, the ambitious mayor of Redrock, striving for safety in the city while also desiring more power over its inhabitants.
In a face-off between Silva and Vega, main character Jacob Diaz becomes entangled, as he delves deeper into uncovering secrets from his turbulent history. For additional information, check out the new story trailer below.
MindsEye is additionally equipped with additional missions, created utilizing ARCADIA. This is Build A Rocket Boy’s custom-made construction and dissemination tool, which facilitates swift production of top-tier content, ensuring the frequent delivery of fresh gameplay.
On June 10th, MindsEye will make its debut on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC at a price of $59.99, £54.99, or €59.99. Pre-order your copy now, as the Deluxe Edition includes a Premium Pass, exclusive weapons, character skins, vehicle skins, and a companion drone skin.
