Mindseye Gameplay Reveal Shows off GTA-Style Driving and Shooting, in a Cyberpunky Setting
Build A Rocket Boy, led by Leslie Benzies – renowned for his work on Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto series – is developing the upcoming game titled MindsEye.
The game has a resemblance to Grand Theft Auto, in certain aspects, but it also presents a futuristic backdrop, giving it a slight Cyberpunk feel. It incorporates both driving and shooting mechanics.
The description reads:
Experience the role of Jacob Diaz, a previous soldier outfitted with The MindsEye, an enigmatic neural device that torments him with disjointed recollections of a secret mission that indelibly altered his fate. Engage in a struggle to expose the truth in a universe where artificial intelligence, advanced scientific research, and unbridled military might dictate every interaction.
Jacob is not alone in his quest for truth; entities operating covertly might prove stronger and riskier than he has thought. Brace yourself for grueling battles that will take place on foot, in vehicles, and even in the skies. Each choice could determine whether you live or lose.
MindsEye will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in summer, 2025.
