Milo Ventimiglia and wife Jarah Mariano reveal pregnancy with bikini bump snap

Actor Milo Ventimiglia is preparing for another major milestone – and this time, it’s off screen.

The This Is Us star, 48, and his wife, model Jarah Mariano, are expecting baby number two.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby over the weekend with a sunny Instagram photo, and People magazine has confirmed the news.

Mariano, age 42, showed off her baby bump while celebrating her daughter Ke’ala Coral’s first birthday.

I’m loving this summery vibe! In the picture, she’s holding her little one so sweetly, all snuggled up against her, and she looks amazing in a brown bikini and a big, floppy hat. It’s such a natural, relaxed moment – perfect for a beach day!

She wrote, ‘Happy 1st birthday, sweet girl!’ She explained that the moment her baby was born, she felt two powerful, conflicting emotions: an instant, fierce love and a sudden, strong desire to protect her for as long as possible, wanting both to give her life for her and to live a long life to keep her safe.

She added, ‘This is the most unique love I’ve ever experienced, just as unique of a soul you are.

My sweet Ke’ala Coral, even though there’s a lot of negativity in the world, I know you’ll spread kindness and joy wherever you go, making life better for everyone around you. I love you always. – Mama

Oh my gosh, you guys, it’s just… everything! First, Milo and Kelly welcomed their sweet little daughter a year ago, which was already amazing news! But then, just two weeks later, their house in Los Angeles… it burned down in those terrible fires! I was so worried about them, and it’s just… a lot to process, you know? They’re so strong, though. I’m just sending all my love and hoping they’re doing okay after everything.

Mariano, who married the actor in 2023, shared a sweet photo on Instagram of their newborn baby’s feet alongside their dog’s paw.

She started a heartfelt caption by writing, ‘Houseless, not homeless – welcome back, Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia,’ and dated it January 23, 2025.

On January 7th, my family and I had to evacuate due to the Palisades Fire. Sadly, we lost both our current home and all of our belongings, as well as a new house we were building and planning to move into.

Jarah mentioned she was 38 weeks pregnant and had recently evacuated due to the Franklin Fire just a few weeks before.

I’m grateful I had a chance to prepare myself, because I knew something similar would eventually happen.

 

She was thankful that they were able to evacuate during the Palisades Fire while it was still daylight. She felt being prepared and not caught off guard, as would have been the case if it had happened at night, made a big difference.

Mariano shared with his followers that his family is doing well – they are together, happy, healthy, and safe, and that’s what’s most important to him.

We are incredibly thankful for the firefighters who bravely fight fires, and for those who continue to support people long after the flames are out.

In September 2024, the model happily shared the news that she and her partner were expecting their first child.

She shared a photo of herself on a paddle board in Hawaii, showing off her baby bump.

Jarah announced she’s pregnant in a social media post, sharing a photo of herself in a bikini and a purple orchid lei with the caption: ‘Baby on board!’

Just weeks before Mariano and Milo’s first child was born, they lost their home in the devastating Malibu wildfires that burned across thousands of acres of Southern California.

It was just a few days into the fires when I visited what used to be my home, and honestly, it was incredibly emotional. Seeing the site where my life was built, now just… gone, was a truly heartbreaking experience.

The actor from This Is Us went to see what was left of the house he and his wife, Jarah, had been fixing up for their future baby.

He told CBS News about the terrifying experience of watching their house burn in security camera footage. Thankfully, he, his wife, and their dog were able to get out safely before the fire destroyed it.

It really broke my heart watching Ventimiglia talk about everything they lost in the fire. They weren’t just losing possessions, but everything they’d lovingly prepared for their first child – the nursery, the crib, absolutely everything. It was so emotional to see.

He described how devastating it was for them to watch their house burn, and how hard it was to come to terms with the experience.

There’s a moment of realization when it hits you that this is actually happening, and it’s shocking. But eventually, you just tune it out – what’s the point of continuing to watch when it becomes overwhelming?

Eventually, while watching the live footage, he said: ‘We kind of accepted the loss.’

He went back to the burned area two days after the fire was extinguished. Although he knew his house had been destroyed, being there in person felt incredibly difficult and emotionally draining.

You begin to remember things from all over the house, and then you look at the surrounding neighborhood. It’s incredibly painful.

The actor also discussed how his character, Jack Pearson, tragically died in a fire during his final episode of the popular NBC show, This Is Us, and was forced to watch his house burn.

He bravely rescued his family from a house fire, but sadly passed away from a heart attack due to smoke inhalation.

‘It’s not lost on me,’ he said about the comparison. ‘Life imitating art.’
