Millie Bobby Brown’s long-awaited Netflix sequel has finally started filming in the UK

Millie Bobby Brown’s Netflix sequel Enola Holmes 3 has started filming in the United Kingdom.

Right now, they’re filming the third part of a mystery series similar to Sherlock Holmes at Shepperton Studios. Later during production, some scenes will be shot in Malta.

In addition to the actor known for “Stranger Things”, it’s anticipated (although not yet confirmed) that Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and Susan Wokoma may reappear in the next production.

One thing we can confirm is that Harry Bradbeer, the director of the initial films, will not be directing this particular movie.

Rather than the previous director, now Philip Barantini is at the helm. He’s recognized for his work on high-impact one-shot productions like “Boiling Point” and “Adolescence”, which has been making waves recently, particularly on Netflix and sparking much debate.

There isn’t a lot of information available about the storyline of Enola Holmes 3, but there are whispers suggesting it will be more somber than the first two films. Given that Bill Condon (Barantini) is involved, such a change doesn’t appear to be an unreasonable prediction.

It’s plausible that the storyline of the next film will continue with the unresolved plot points such as Sharon Duncan-Brewster’s character Moriarty breaking out of prison, and the debut of Himesh Patel’s character, Dr John Watson.

Previously, during the promotion for Netflix’s “The Electric State,” Brown shared that Margot Robbie is her ideal collaborator on a project.
