This week, she surprised her followers by disclosing that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, welcomed a new addition to their family in the form of an adopted baby daughter.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but be thrilled once more as Millie Bobby Brown is making waves again! A pre-adoption video clip of hers is creating a buzz and spreading like wildfire across social media platforms. I just can’t get enough of her charm and talent!
The Stranger Things actress, who is now 21, shares her thoughts on whether she’d encourage her hypothetical kids to start an acting career at a young age, similar to her own path.
Millie, spotted taking a stroll with her baby and spouse on Thursday (as captured in Daily Mail exclusive photos), was questioned about whether she would attempt to discourage her kids from pursuing her career path while promoting her Netflix movie “The Electric State,” co-starring Chris Pratt. The film has garnered a highly negative 6% rating from the top critics surveyed by Rotten Tomatoes.
During the interview, the host pointed out that Millie had recently celebrated her 21st birthday and inquired about what she might say to her hypothetical future child if they expressed an interest in acting, similar to herself. Here’s another way of saying it:
In the video, the interviewer mentioned that Millie had just turned 21 years old. They then posed a question about what Millie would respond if her future child said something like, “Mommy, I’d love to become a child actor, just like you.
Inquiring about her personal perspective, the interviewer wondered if Millie, having witnessed her own growth in the public eye through her acting career, would encourage her future offspring to follow a similar professional route given her experiences within Hollywood.

Millie explained, “Just as my parents nurtured me to be true to myself, I would follow the same approach.
She went on to say that if it was something she was interested in pursuing, she would back them. Moreover, similar to how her parents safeguarded her, she expressed her intent to shield them as well.
It was apparent that Millie had no intention of discouraging her kids from pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.
She stated that she’s constantly motivating youth to pursue their dreams, and should the opportunity arise for her to assist in any form, she certainly would.
In a previous interview, conducted before The Electric State debuted on Netflix in March, took place following Millie’s announcement about the arrival of her and her husband Jake’s adopted child. Some viewers who commented on the video acknowledged this recent family development.
‘I’m here after her adoption announcement 😭,’ one fan wrote in the comments.
‘She’ll be a very good mom 🥹,’ added another user.
The author might have meant that she gave serious consideration to the matter since she was aware that she would be having a child not too far in the future instead of sometime down the line.

Following Millie’s relocation from the United Kingdom to America at age eight, she secured her debut acting role approximately a year after, landing a guest spot on the ABC spinoff “Once Upon A Time in Wonderland” as a youthful portrayal of Alice.
Approximately a year after that, she made her debut as a leading actress in the BBC America and BBC Two co-produced thriller series titled Intruders. This happened a year later in her career.
In the ensuing years, she landed guest spots on prominent series such as Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, and NCIS. However, it was her groundbreaking role in Netflix’s hit sci-fi thriller Stranger Things, launched in 2016, that truly catapulted her to stardom.
Anticipated for release in three instalments starting from November of this year, the final season of the show is set to air approximately ten years since its initial premiere.
After that point, she’s been featured in notable blockbuster films such as Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong, along with two lesser-known Netflix productions of Enola Holmes and The Electric State, which boasted a staggering production budget of around $320 million but received harsh criticism from critics.
Last Thursday, the actress who stars in Stranger Things and married Bongiovi (23) last year, unexpectedly shared news about her newly-adopted child on Instagram.
‘This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,’ she wrote.
We can’t contain our joy as we prepare to step into the tranquil, secluded phase of parenthood ahead.

‘And then there were three. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.’
Despite not posting any photos of their child, the couple were recently spotted as Bongiovi was seen pushing a stroller on July 20, according to a social media post shared by Brown and captioned: “What a fantastic summer so far.
In March, Brown openly shared his plans to start a family with Bongiovi, expressing that he was well-aware of how significant this was to her.
In May 2024, they tied the knot, and since then, they’ve been contemplating various options for starting a family – from having biological children to adopting, with dreams of building a large family together.
In a chat on the Smartless podcast, co-hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett, the actress expressed her anticipation for motherhood, despite acknowledging her relatively young age.
She had her first child when she was 21, while my father was just 19 years old. It’s something that’s been a part of me even before I got to know Jake,” she clarified.
From the time I was born, I’ve always aspired to become a mother, much like my own mother was for me. Additionally, my grandmother, or nan as you might say, played an enormously significant role in my life.
Millie went on to say, “Jake understands the significance of my career aspirations as both an actor and a producer, yet personally, starting a family is equally crucial to me.

‘It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.’
Brown then added: ‘And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family.
Among the four of us, he and I are included. This means that collectively, we are certainly looking towards shared experiences in the future. Personally, I don’t perceive much distinction between raising a biological child and adopting one.
She continued by expressing: ‘Our home is filled with a welcoming spirit towards all, and this is our fundamental belief, shared between Jake and myself. Our house symbolizes an ever-open door, inviting comfort to all who enter.’
Her remarks emerged not long ago, following an interview she gave to Vanity Fair in February where she discussed her partnership with Bongiovi and their agreement on significant matters, which she described as strong.
In a conversation with the media outlet, she discussed her political opinions, preferences for family structure, desired living environment, expectations for romantic relationships, and career aspirations.
Making this decision is crucial, and we wanted to be certain that our choice was correct. I had no doubt about it. I always felt that he was the right one.”
This version maintains the original meaning while using simpler language and more natural phrasing, making it easier for a reader to understand.
In the year 2021, dating began between Brown and Bongiovi, who happen to be the daughter of renowned musician Jon Bon Jovi. They later announced their engagement in April of 2023.
In May 2024, the pair got married at a grand event in Italy. They exchanged vows at Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
