At the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday night, Millie Bobby Brown was clearly captivated by her husband Jake Bongiovi as they made their entrance together.

The young actress, aged 21, embodied grace in a fitting peach satin dress that accentuated her slender physique perfectly.

I strolled side by side with Jake, the 22-year-old, who exuded his usual polished style in a timeless black suit and tie.

On Wednesday, Millie, who recently turned 21, appeared enthusiastic for the upcoming awards event. She occasionally burst into fits of laughter and struck playful poses while having her picture taken.

Prior to their initial public appearance together as a couple, she and Jake had already become acquainted via Instagram back in June of 2021.

For the second consecutive year, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (the 31st edition), which is being helmed by the charming Kristen Bell, will be broadcast live on Netflix, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) presents this awards ceremony, which is unique as it’s the only televised event that solely honors actors.

During a lengthy event, thirteen honors will be presented to recognize exceptional performances in both movies and television. These awards have been chosen by the more than 130,000 members of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists).

As stated on their official website, the SAG Awards boast the most extensive voting membership among all award ceremonies.

Some notable celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, Zoe Saldana, and Timothée Chalamet, have been nominated for awards in this year’s ceremony.

For 2025, unlike previous years, the traditional SAG Awards nomination event has been called off due to the destructive wildfires in Los Angeles, which began in January.

Instead, SAG-AFTRA shared the nominations online.

The popular musical Wicked, which was inspired by the Tony Award-winning play on Broadway, has received the most nominations for SAG’s prestigious film awards, with a total of five nods.

Wicked’s nominees feature Cynthia Erivo for Best Actress, Ariana Grande for Best Supporting Actress, Jonathan Bailey for Best Supporting Actor, a contender for Best Ensemble Cast, and recognition for the outstanding work of the Stunt Cast as well.

The nominees competing with us for the SAG award for best ensemble cast include A Complete Unknown (a Bob Dylan biopic), Conclave (a film about papal selection), Anora (a story revolving around a sex worker marrying the son of a Russian oligarch), and Emilia Perez, who won a Golden Globe.

A Complete Unknown star Chalamet is nominated for best actor for his portrayal of the folk legend.

In the supporting actor and actress categories, both Edward Norton (as Pete Seeger) and Monica Barbaro (portraying Joan Baez) received recognition from their peers.

In the nominations, Emilia Pérez has been recognized in the category of Best Cast. The film, originally in Spanish, features Karla Sofía Gascón, its contentious lead, who is competing for Best Actress against Demi Moore from “The Substance” and Mikey Anora’s Madison. Zoe Saldana received a nomination in the Supporting Actress category.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that although Selena Gomez didn’t earn an individual nomination, she’s a valued member of the Emilia Perez ensemble cast, which has been recognized in its category for this year’s awards.

Gomez’s Hulu show, “Only Murders in the Building,” has been recognized for its exceptional ensemble acting and is up for consideration in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Dramatic Series Ensemble.

Anora nominated actress Mikey Madison individually (in the best actress category), while actor Yura Borisov was also nominated separately.

Demi Moore, a strong contender for an Academy Award, received recognition as a best actress nominee for her leading part in the horror movie titled “The Substance.” This film has previously granted her both a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award.

In Sofia Coppola’s newest movie, ‘The Last Showgirl’, Pamela Anderson was nominated for her inaugural SAG Award, having portrayed a maturing Las Vegas showgirl.

In terms of television nominations, Shogun is ahead with five mentions, then comes The Bear with four, and finally, The Diplomat has received three.

In the category of best ensemble for a drama series, both “Shogun” and “The Diplomat” are nominated, along with “Bridgerton,” “Day of the Jackal,” and “Slow Horses.

In the running for the best comedy series ensemble award are The Bear, along with Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building, and Shrinking.

In the category for Best Male Actor in a Comedy Series, Jeremy Allen White of “The Bear” is set to compete against Harrison Ford from “Shrinking” and Adam Brody of “Nobody Wants This.

Simultaneously, actors Hiroyuki Sanada and Tadanobu Asano from Shogun were nominated in the Best Male Actor in a Drama Series category, alongside Jeff Bridges of The Old Man and Eddie Redmayne from The Day of the Jackal.

In the television movie and limited series genres, HBO’s “The Penguin,” Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer,” and Netflix’s “Ripley” are all vying for the most prestigious acting awards.

Jessica Gunning from “Baby Reindeer” and Cristin Milioti from “The Penguin” are tipped to win the best actress award, while Colin Farrell from “The Penguin” might secure the victory against Richard Gadd and Andrew Scott from “Ripley”.

Actress Kristen Bell, who is hosting tonight’s event, has been recognized as a nominee herself. She earned a nomination for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in “Nobody Wants This,” available on Netflix.

She’s up against the likes of Hacks’ Jean Smart and The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri in the category.

At the 2025 ceremony, stunt teams who’ve contributed to hit TV series and films are likewise honored for their exceptional work.

I am beyond thrilled to learn that my favorite upcoming movies, such as “Wicked,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Gladiator II,” “The Fall Guy,” and Ryan Reynolds’ epic duo “Deadpool & Wolverine,” have all been recognized with nominations! It’s like a dream come true for this die-hard fan!

Here’s my take: I can hardly contain my excitement! Not only am I fortunate enough to be part of the team behind some incredible shows like The Penguin, Fallout, Shogun, The Boys, and House of The Dragon, but it looks like we’ve all been recognized for our hard work with nominations! This is truly a dream come true for any fan, let alone me!

Jane Fonda will receive the SAG Life Achievement Award, making her the 60th individual to be recognized in this way at the event’s most prestigious honor ceremony.

The president of SAG-AFTRA, Fran Drescher, characterized Jane Fonda, at the age of 37, who has won two Oscars and boasts a career that stretches across more than six decades, as both a groundbreaking figure and an exceptionally gifted individual.
