Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, appeared very much in love at the premiere of the final season of Stranger Things on Thursday.

The 21-year-old actress and her 23-year-old partner, who recently became parents through adoption, shared a cozy moment together at a Hollywood party. She had previously spoken highly of him as a father.

Millie looked stunning in a burgundy satin corset that featured a cream lace trim and a bow. 

She paired the top with a coordinating mini skirt and styled her hair in a neat bun, finishing off her outfit.

Jake and his wife coordinated their outfits, and he chose a velvet blazer that matched her look. He completed the ensemble with a white shirt and black tie.

Millie recently spoke about her adopted daughter and suggested she’d like to have a large family – four children in total – as the couple enjoyed a day out.

The actress from Stranger Things, who married Jake last year, unexpectedly revealed on social media on August 21st that she had adopted a child.

She recently introduced her and Jake’s adopted daughter to the world, and now she’s talked about how she plans to navigate raising her child in the public eye.

In an interview with British Vogue’s December issue, she revealed her desire to have a large family, noting that both she and her partner come from families with four children.

She also shared how her husband is as a father, saying they share parenting responsibilities equally. She’s incredibly thankful to have him as a partner and calls him an amazing dad.

Millie announced the arrival of her adopted daughter in August, sharing that they welcomed the ‘sweet baby girl’ this summer.

On July 20 Millie dropped a hint there was a baby in their life.

Millie shared a photo on Instagram of Jake pushing a stroller, with the caption ‘helluva summer thus far.’ It wasn’t immediately clear what the situation was.

They got married in May 2024 and had talked about starting a family, including having children and considering adoption. They hoped to have a large family together.

The actress recently shared on the Smartless podcast – co-hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett – that she hopes to become a mother soon, even though she acknowledges she’s still young.

She shared that her parents were very young when she was born – her mom was 21 and her dad just 19. She added that dealing with this family dynamic has always been a part of her life, even before she met her partner, Jake.

Ever since I was little, I’ve dreamed of being a mother, hoping to be just like my own mom. My grandmother was also incredibly important to me and played a big role in my life.

Millie explained that Jake understands how much starting a family means to her. While she’s dedicated to building her career as both an actor and a producer, she also feels it’s very important for her to have children.

‘It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we cannot do that until we get married. So that was his thing.’

Millie then added: ‘And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. 

Okay, so this is HUGE to me. He comes from a family of four, I come from a family of four… it just feels like it’s meant to be, you know? And honestly, the idea of having a biological kid versus adopting? It doesn’t even feel different to me. A child is a child, and love is love. It’s just… inevitable, I can feel it!

She explained that her and Jake strive to create a welcoming and loving home where everyone feels comfortable. They believe in an open-door policy and want anyone who visits to feel at ease.
