This surgery was necessary after she was diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene in 2020, increasing her risk of specific cancers. Since then, Firerose has put off the operation indefinitely.
About two weeks ago, she submitted a request in court to be allowed back to their shared home to collect her possessions, stating that her former spouse has prevented her from doing so.
According to documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Firerose had consented to vacate the property following his divorce petition and was prohibited from re-entering without prior approval.
On May 29, it was arranged that she could pick up the remaining items, but this plan failed as Firerose was in the midst of switching lawyers during that period.
The documents indicate that they tried to arrange a new appropriate date for several weeks after that, but on July 12, Firerose received notice she wasn’t allowed to come back.
According to the letter mentioned, the wife’s untrustworthiness was brought up and the husband expressed concerns about her supposed premarital indiscretions. (Or) The letter revealed that the husband doubted his wife’s trustworthiness based on past allegations of premarital misconduct.
In explaining his position on the motion, Billy Ray referred to an article published by Page Six on July 11th. According to this article, Firerose discussed her past arrest and the subsequent 60-day imprisonment she faced.
According to the records, Mr. Cyrus was taken into custody unexpectedly, a fact he was not aware of. Given that Firerose had a history of fabricating and hiding past details from him, his lawyer felt compelled to scrutinize her declarations more closely.
Yet, according to text messages obtained by DailyMail.com, it seems that Colbie Caillat’s claims are not consistent with reality. These texts suggest that her husband was part of conversations where she mentioned the incident in question.
In a group chat on November 2023, Billy Ray, his spouse, and Adkins talked about the creation of a new song. This conversation revealed that the inspiration behind the song came from Firerose’s past struggles, which included a period of incarceration.
In her court documents, Firerose asserts that Billy Ray cut her off from all relationships except for her AA sponsor whom she continued to communicate with. Only seven months later, Billy Ray initiated the divorce proceedings.
Billy Ray accused Firerose of engaging in unwanted behavior in their marriage when he filed for divorce. He also alleged that she had deceived him, but the specifics of this deceit are not disclosed in the court records.
In the court papers submitted against Billy Ray’s divorce request, Firerose asserts that his erratic and explosive behavior is a result of suspected substance use problems.
Billy Ray denied the allegations against him in court filings submitted recently, stating instead that it was Firerose who was the abusive partner in their marriage.
In the documents submitted in Franklin, Tennessee last June, Billy Ray stated that the defendant’s accusations of mistreatment were merely an exaggeration of her unfounded complaints, as she employed the term “mistreatment” to add drama.
The plaintiff admits to having expressed strong emotions towards the defendant in May 2024. However, it is important to note that the plaintiff was the one who suffered both verbal and emotional harm, as well as physical abuse, at the hands of the defendant.
According to an affidavit attached here, Billy Ray’s manager, Adkins, declared: “During the period I managed both Mr. Cyrus and Firerose, I personally observed Firerose speaking disrespectfully and behaving inappropriately towards Mr. Cyrus.”
Adkins went on to state that on one occasion Billy Ray told him, ‘Scott she is hitting me again.’
I myself have been victim to allegedly fraudulent transactions amounting to $96,986 on my credit cards. My spouse, Firerose, was neither authorized as a signatory on my cards nor my accounts. Recently, I obtained an injunction prohibiting her from further usage of these financial instruments.
For her part Firerose claimed that she felt ‘unsafe’ with him in their Nashville home.
She acknowledged requiring urgent therapy sessions with her psychologist multiple times, given the extreme negativity in her relationship with the man she used to care for deeply.
