Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish reveals mistake she made when trying to make Billy Ray marriage work

 Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish has opened up candidly about her marriage with ex Billy Ray Cyrus.

57-year-old cannabis business owner discussed her divorce from the 63-year-old artist, well-known for his “Achy Breaky Heart” hit, whom she was married to for 28 years, following their separation. During this time, he publicly acknowledged and paid tribute to their daughter Miley during their estrangement.

She spoke candidly about their relationship on the Sibling Revelry With Kate Hudson And Oliver Hudson podcast released on Monday as she said: ‘I never wanted to be divorced.

Then Tish revealed the mistake she made in trying to make the marriage work.

She expressed: “I tried to keep things going for a while, possibly longer than needed, particularly for the sake of my mental well-being. Eventually, there came a time when I was left with no other option.

Back in April of 2022, I, a diehard fan, witnessed the official parting ways of the dynamic duo, Tish and Billy Ray. Despite the heart-wrenching news, they remain united as parents to our beloved Miley (age 32), Noah (age 24), and Braison (age 30).

Billy Ray also adopted  Tish’s daughter Brandi, 37, and son Trace, 35, from her previous marriage.

In the podcast, she confessed that everyone in the family found her separation difficult, particularly her grown-up children.

In February, it emerged that Noah was romantically involved with Purcell, but Tish began showing interest in him at the same time. It is known that she was aware of his relationship with her own daughter.

According to a source, the conflict between Noah and Tish runs much deeper than what’s commonly perceived, and it seems that Noah is deeply upset because he believes Tish has taken Dominic away from him.

However, their divorce became official in August, which was three months after he filed for divorce from his wife of under a year, who hails from Australia. The reason given for the separation was ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Following a highly contentious and public separation marked by mutual accusations of verbal and emotional mistreatment, court records signed on Monday (exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com) indicate that Firerose emerged with no financial settlement.
