Mikey Madison replaces Sydney Sweeney in “creepy” new horror movie
Exciting news for fans of Mikey Madison! The actress is all set to shine once more as she steps into a leading role for another film, having won an Oscar for her exceptional performance in “Anora”.
In discussions for a role in “The Masque of the Red Death,” an updated adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling tale with the same title (according to The Hollywood Reporter). Previously, Sydney Sweeney from ‘Euphoria’ was linked to the project, but had to withdraw due to scheduling issues.
The movie, helmed by Charlie Polinger under production house A24, has been acclaimed as an innovative and unconventional adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s 1842 tale. In this production, Madison assumes a double role, portraying the characters of twin siblings.
