Prior to his Emmy-winning series creation, he had previously competed in Season 37, known as Survivor: David vs. Goliath, and finished as the runner-up in 2018. Following his return from Fiji, Mike White – who is not only the showrunner of The White Lotus, but also its writer, director, and executive producer – will undoubtedly have a full plate with Season 3 on the horizon, as he’s been teasing hints about Season 4. It seems that participating in Survivor might not have been such a misfortune after all, despite the need to conquer challenges, avoid elimination, and improvise dental care and meals.
