Mike Perry’s gruesome trash talk, Diana Belbita threatened & Ryan Garcia headed to RIZIN?
I, as a long-time gamer and avid follower of combat sports, can’t help but share my thoughts on the latest news from the world of fighting. Let me break down three headlines for you and give you my take.
In this new daily feature, I’ll analyze and share my perspectives on the latest combat sports news from around the scene. Be sure to drop by every morning for updates on the most significant or intriguing stories.
Mike Perry vows to hurt Jake Paul in boxing match
Mike Perry to Jake Paul: “I’m gonna dig through your eyeball and find your memories”

A recent video emerged showing Jake Paul and Mike Perry exchanging harsh words before their upcoming boxing match. “Your puny green jabs won’t even touch my brain, man,” Perry taunted. “I’ll dig deep into your eye to uncover your past,” he added. Paul replied, “Mike, please don’t do that.”
Growing up, I’ve always been drawn to the thrill of a good fight, be it physical or verbal. But this upcoming match has piqued my interest in a whole new way. For many, the heated exchanges between the competitors are meant to fuel their excitement and anticipation for the event. And yes, it does that for me as well. However, what I find myself looking forward to is not the potential victory or defeat, but rather the comedic value of the trash talk.
UFC fighter Diana Belbita threatened by BKFC fighter
This dude is out of control.
— Diana Belbiță (@DianaBelbita) July 17, 2024
On Wednesdays, Diana Belbita revealed a string of messages between Ruben Warr of BFKC and her partner, in which Warr made threatening remarks about gang raping her. She implored BFKC for intervention as she alleged that he persistently harasses both her and her boyfriend.
Regrettably, such hostile actions are typical of trolls, not authentic accounts with identifiable names and faces. Unfortunately, women on the internet frequently encounter threats like these, as you can observe in the comments towards Belbita from her fans. I’ve experienced something comparable myself and empathize deeply with her situation. BKFC must acknowledge these issues and take action regarding the fighter to maintain a positive reputation for their promotion.
Ryan Garcia is rumored to be headed to RIZIN
It’s been reported that suspended boxer Ryan Garcia might take part in a exhibition fight at RIZIN’s New Year’s Eve event.
Garcia is in a difficult situation and would benefit from seeking treatment in rehab instead of pushing the limits to earn money. Although technically allowed to compete in Japan, it would not be advisable for him to do so. Athletic commissions generally uphold suspensions, regardless of their origin, and Garcia should avoid provoking them further.
