Mikayla Matthews from Mormon Wives Reveals She’s Expecting Baby No. 4!

Actress Mikayla Matthews from the show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” shared that she’s having another baby, her fourth, with her spouse Jace Terry, on a Thursday announcement.

The 24-year-old, with an impressive following of 3.8 million on social media, posted a video showing the moment she found out she was pregnant as a surprise. She titled it: ‘I hope this baby brings me healing. So thrilled to discuss this secret with all of you now, hehe!’

As a die-hard admirer, I couldn’t help but notice when Mikayla mentioned ‘healing.’ This wasn’t just about a minor cut or bruise. It was a nod to the mysterious chronic illness that has plagued her since childhood. An illness so enigmatic, it continues to elude a definitive diagnosis. And yet, it’s this same illness that triggers severe eczema outbreaks across her body, leaving her skin inflamed and uncomfortable.

Matthews shared with People on Thursday, “Others say, ‘Perhaps this child will help mend your health.’ I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I worry the most about my health issues and passing them onto my little one.

Almost every day, the thought of wanting my baby and myself to be at peak health pushes me harder towards taking good care of my body.

The woman who strongly resembles Leighton Meester frequently experiences irregular periods due to her health concerns, and she had assumed that she couldn’t conceive at this time. Consequently, when the couple performed a pregnancy test, they were taken aback by the positive result.

Mikayla and Jace chose to tell their three kids – Beckham (age 7), Haven (age 5), and Tommie (age 3) – about the pregnancy when she was roughly two months pregnant.

Matthews, intending to have a total of six, remembered that he shared the news only following his initial ultrasound.

On the program, we shared the news, and their joy was palpable. They enthusiastically revealed that Santa had gifted them a newborn for Christmas. It was truly heartwarming.

‘I feel like I’m meaner now too,’ Matthews laughed.

During pregnancy, a woman might not worry about things as much. Later, hormonal changes could cause outbursts or anger, followed by apologies.

On a Wednesday, the woman who no longer actively practices Mormonism made a trip to California to collect her newly improved diamond wedding ring, in anticipation of her seventh wedding anniversary on March 1st.

Mikayla subtly suggested that it was her who covered the cost for the upgrade, since Terry recently started working as an assistant to Mikayla’s hairstylist, Jessi, at the JZ Styles salon in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Last August, Jace, who Matthews first encountered when Matthews was 16 and he was 21, lost his position as project manager at his brother’s food truck business, Waffle Love, due to some television-related issues.

Last month, the ex-nanny journeyed to Barrett Plastic Surgery located in Beverly Hills for the removal of her breast implants which she thought were causing her illness. This was part of her persistent effort towards achieving a ‘healthy 2025’.

In addition to her appearances on a reality show, Mikayla also has significant influence in the digital world, partnering with brands such as Amazon, Winkclique, Revolve, AloMoves, Clean Simple Eats, Babe Original, and Nexxus for paid collaborations.

Matthews received the news that she was having a baby not long after her fellow cast member, Jen Affleck, made a similar announcement about expecting her third child with her spouse Zac Affleck, which was shared in an article by People magazine.
