Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind Spring Update to Add ‘Expanded’ Online Multiplayer

Digital Eclipse developer has announced that they will release an update for “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind” this spring. Initially, there will be a patch to enhance the existing gameplay features and make improvements to the classic side-scrolling brawler. Following this, online multiplayer expansion is planned.

This week’s update introduces an option for upgrading your Rangers and introduces ‘morphers’, which greatly change the gaming experience by offering unique abilities. Additionally, it includes special moves. A fresh skill point system is implemented to customize your preferred Ranger’s strength, defense, and speed. Meanwhile, morphers enable you to manipulate various aspects of the gameplay, such as altering gravity, speed, and more.

The latest special skills incorporate a ‘Power Blast’ that pushes adversaries away while reducing a slight amount of your health, and a ‘Ground Recovery’ ability which lets you jump back up swiftly by pressing the correct button at the right moment when knocked down. These abilities are expected to enhance game speed and smoothness.

For the forthcoming spring update, I’m super excited about the major enhancement coming to the game’s online multiplayer! Instead of being limited to six players on two consoles, we’ll now be able to enjoy the action with up to six different gamers simultaneously, all connected via a peer-to-peer setup, each from their individual machines. This is going to take our gaming sessions to a whole new level!

The action-packed game, “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind,” can now be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or your personal computer.
