Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is Coming to Xbox in December
As a seasoned gamer with nostalgia coursing through my veins, the announcement of Nighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind has sent me into a frenzy of excitement! The memories of watching the original series and playing its NES game flood back like an uncontrollable morphing sequence.
In a recent announcement, Digital Eclipse revealed that they are set to release Nighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, an homage to the classic Power Rangers series in retro ’90s beat-’em-up style, come December.
The fighting game based on Power Rangers has officially been announced to arrive on gaming consoles. This means you can engage in battles against Rita Repulsa’s Putty Patroller troops and challenge formidable bosses like Goldar, all within a 3D super-scaler game reminiscent of Space Harrier, while riding your Dinozord during specific levels.
After you manage to capture your boss character, the gameplay transitions into a first-person combat game where the Megazord from Power Rangers utilizes its fists to defeat enemies. In essence, it’s a combination of a side-scrolling brawler, a Space Harrier-style chase game, and a first-person fighting game rolled into one exciting experience.
When the game “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind” is released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 10th December, you will have the option to select from characters Jason (red), Trini (yellow), Zack (black), Billy (blue), and Kimberly (pink).
