Mickey Rourke’s $500k Fee at Risk After Leaving CBB Over Threatening Behaviour Saga

Mickey Rourke likely felt as if he had struck a goldmine when he decided to participate in Celebrity Big Brother following ITV’s agreement to compensate him with £500,000 for his time there.

However, it came to light over the weekend that his actions included more instances of inappropriate speech and unsuitable conduct.

A form of reprimand from Big Brother was issued to him earlier in the week due to his derogatory remarks toward housemate JoJo Siwa, which were related to homosexuality. After that, this event occurred.

On Saturday, it’s thought that Mickey exhibited behavior and spoke in a way that others perceived as threatening and aggressive, which was aimed at his housemate Chris Hughes. However, there was no instance of physical conflict between the two.

Regardless of being eliminated early, celebrities receive their entire contracted payment upon appearance in the show, such as Michael Fabricant who left on Friday evening.

From my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I must clarify that one should be mindful of the consequences when choosing to exit or being dismissed from a high-profile platform such as a TV show. In such instances, the financial rewards they’ve come to expect might not materialize.

Earlier reports from The Express indicate that, even though he earned £500,000 during his time in the house, a significant portion of his income – approximately half – will be deducted as tax payments.

Despite working in the UK, US citizens must pay tax on earnings even if it’s earned abroad.

Consequently, the report stated that he might have to pay back as much as £213,900 ($276,000) in taxes upon his return to the United States.

In 2016, Christopher Biggins was asked to exit the program after making a joke that referenced Nazis. He reportedly received only half of his £100,000 fee following the incident. Later, he expressed regret and issued an apology for his actions.

At that point, it was stated that the production company had no violations of their contract by failing to pay the full amount owed.

Actor Mickey from Hollywood departed the house following additional instances of disrespectful speech and unsuitable conduct directed at Chris.

In the latest episode, the contestant from Love Island, aged 32, offered solace to a previous participant named JoJo, who is 21 years old. This was in response to Mickey expressing his views on JoJo’s sexuality, stating that he would swiftly vote out the lesbian if given the chance.

Earlier today, TopMob announced that fans of Celebrity Big Brother suspected Mickey might leave the program following a significant hint they noticed on Saturday.

On a Friday night, it was Michael, the ex-Tory MP, who faced eviction as he received the highest number of nominations from his fellow housemates, making him the first housemate to leave the competition.

Following the announcement of the outcome, the politician bid farewell and left amid a blend of boos and applause, being welcomed by co-hosts AJ Odudu (aged 37) and Will Best (aged 40).

Yet, sharp-eyed spectators spotted Mickey, aged 72, appearing to discreetly leave with him.

With the belief that the Hollywood star yearns to depart, spectators swiftly flocked to X (previously known as Twitter) to voice their speculations.

Mickey expresses his strong desire to depart repeatedly. When the other person was escorted out, he feigned as if he were leaving with him.

Despite criticism from viewers who called Mickey a ‘homophobe’, he was labeled as such following his comments that left dancer JoJo, 21, in tears. He implied he could ‘make her straight’ while they were in the house, and also referred to her using a derogatory term for someone who identifies as LGBTQ+.

Mickey inquired from Chris whether each participant would need to eliminate others from the house, as the Wrestler celebrity admitted: “I’ll be swiftly voting out the individual who identifies as a lesbian.

JoJo overheard as she hit back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’ 

In response to Mickey’s action, Chris intervened with, “You can’t treat JoJo like that Mickey,” but the star remained unfazed as he countered, “I require some assistance,” while pointing towards JoJo and stating emphatically, “I am not addressing you.

Viewers demanded ‘vile’ Mickey be removed from the house after his comments towards JoJo. 

However, following the difficult incident where Mickey repeatedly made disrespectful comments towards JoJo that were both homophobic and misogynistic, viewers have since affectionately dubbed her as ‘the people’s princess’, admiring how she handled the situation.

They wrote: ‘Jojo Siwa is really great, isn’t she? A mature, smart, young woman,’;

Jojo displayed unwavering kindness toward that man even when she could have easily told him to be quiet.

I’m truly awestruck by Jojo’s composure since I’d likely have blown a gasket if an elderly gentleman decided to brush his teeth at the kitchen sink right before my eyes!

‘Oh i’ve seen enough jojo and chris final two,’; ‘Jojo is the people’s princess i fear,’; 

1. Jojo managed that situation exceptionally well, as if she had been practicing it for a long time;

2. In my book, JoJo takes the crown after tonight. Her handling of every situation was impeccable.

seeing Mickey act disrespectfully towards Jojo in a discriminatory manner left me feeling deeply saddened. Yet, despite the situation calling for outrage, she maintained her composure admirably. Her resilience has earned my support. I fervently hope that she manages to free herself from his presence.

Who would have thought Jojo Siwa would be a contender, yet here it is, and honestly, I’m thrilled to see her shining!

During the latest episode on Friday, Mickey’s sharp remark led to more criticism, causing EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer to shed tears.

As a die-hard fan, I was there, nestled among the housemates, all of us gathered around the kitchen table, savoring every bite of the scrumptious meal that had been lovingly prepared by none other than my idol, the 52-year-old actress. However, the moment of bliss was shattered when the actor, with a critical eye, expressed his displeasure with her culinary skills.

He swiped: ‘What do you know, you can’t cook.’

At first, Patsy dismissed it with a laugh, but later, she went to the diary room to vent her feelings to Big Brother.

She apologized, then began crying. “I attempted to address the issue,” she explained, “but it didn’t go as planned. I’m disappointed in myself for how I reacted, and I aim to improve.

It’s important to me that my children are self-advocates at all times. Perhaps I should consider the situation as just a jest.

Mickey asked again, “Will you always want to appear beautiful?” To which Ella responded with a laugh, “Absolutely! I’ll make an effort, if you don’t mind me saying so.

Mickey expressed it this way: “Many people persist for quite some time. Yet, when they eventually decide to stop, that’s what they do – they quit. This is true of most people who try.

Looking in the mirror, Ella sighed: ‘I hope to be beautiful forever.’

To soften his critique yet still express his viewpoint, he remarked, “You’ll certainly shine on the inside.

‘You know, when you’re an old bag… that’s just around the corner for all of us.’

Ella replied: ‘At least I’ll have a beautiful heart…’
