Mickey Rourke Slams JoJo Siwa, Fans Demand His Removal from Big Brother

Fans of Celebrity Big Brother were appalled by what they deemed as offensive remarks about JoJo Siwa made by Mickey Rourke on the show on Wednesday, and many demanded that he be removed from the house due to his homophobic comments.

During a conversation, the 21-year-old singer, openly identifying as a lesbian, was hinted at by the 72-year-old actor that she might change her sexual orientation if they spent a few days together in the same house.

Inquiring about her romantic preferences, Mickey queries the influencer: ‘Are you attracted to women or men?’ To which she responds: ‘As for me, I’m drawn to women. My partner identifies as non-binary.’

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to clarify a common misconception: It is impossible for me to alter anyone’s sexual orientation. So, in my interactions with others, I make it a point to state: ‘Spending more than four days together won’t change your sexuality.’

As a die-hard admirer, let me assure you, I’m unwavering in my identity, proudly gay as ever. And on the romantic front, things couldn’t be better; my heart is as blissfully content as a lovebird in springtime.

In the garden a while later, Mickey queries Chris if it’s necessary for everyone to eliminate each other from the house, as the Wrestler star admits: ‘I plan to vote off the lesbian immediately.’

Yet JoJo overhears as she hits back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’

In response to Mickey’s action, Chris speaks up and says, “You can’t treat JoJo like that,” but Mickey remains unfazed, responding, “I require a moment” as he points towards JoJo, further clarifying, “I’m not addressing you.

In response to Chris, Mickey clarified, “Oh, I realize that. I was actually referring to a cigarette.

As JoJo shows visible distress following their exchange, Chris offers comfort. Meanwhile, Mickey gets summoned to the Diary Room and receives a caution.

Previously, Big Brother had made it clear to Mickey that certain language and behaviors were not acceptable within the Big Brother house.

Later, he shares the entire conversation with Mickey and asks: ‘Mickey, are you aware that this language might be considered offensive by your fellow residents or the television audience?’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d say I strongly believe that to be the case. To clarify, I wouldn’t express it in a harsh manner, nor do I intend it to sound dismissive.

Big Brother continues: ‘Mickey, Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable.’

‘Alright. I can understand that,’ Mickey agrees.

After that, Big Brother gives the celebrity a written notice and clarifies, “Continuing with such speech or actions might result in your eviction from the Big Brother house. Mickey, are you clear on this?

Mickey then adds, ‘Yes I do. It’s some serious stuff.’

Influenced by Big Brother, he eventually admits his mistake, explaining, “I’m truly sorry. My words weren’t meant to be disrespectful – I was just using big talk, if you catch my drift.

‘I wasn’t taking it all so serious. I didn’t mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry.’

Spectators found the situation distasteful and couldn’t believe Mickey received just a reprimand instead of being dismissed from the program.

A disgruntled ITV viewer expressed their thoughts on social media platform X: ‘The fact that Mickey Rourke isn’t being expelled from #CBBUK, given his history of mistreating women and his inappropriate behavior towards Jojo, is heart-wrenching. His actions are appalling and extremely distressing to witness.’

It’s utterly shameful… treating a young lady with such disrespect, merely for being true to herself. Mickey should be removed promptly.

‘He has shown absolutely no remorse whatsoever, vile behaviour from Mickey’

TopMob has contacted ITV representatives for comment.

In a different part of the Wednesday broadcast, viewers and fellow residents alike expressed their discomfort upon witnessing Mickey Rourke’s unsanitary kitchen behavior.

In the morning, Mickey was seen brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but be perplexed during the show when the room lights suddenly brightened, revealing none other than Mickey, snoozing comfortably in his denims on the couch.

In another location, Big Brother cautioned the celebrity about concealing surveillance cameras, as he donned a black t-shirt over one during his dressing process.

He was also reminded to wear his microphone at all times, after removing it to change.

Two days ago, there was criticism directed at Mickey over his behavior deemed as creepy when interacting with AJ Odudu during the debut of Celebrity Big Brother on Monday.

viewers became shocked as soon as the actor started behaving inappropriately towards the ITV host, who seemed clearly uneasy just a few minutes into their interaction.

The Wrestler star received 89 Ofcom complaints following the awkward interaction.

Fans applauded AJ’s fellow host, Will Best, when he intervened, shielding AJ by pulling Mickey away after the latter tried to grab AJ’s arm.

As a die-hard admirer, I found myself trying to maintain my cool as I addressed the actor, politely asking him to “take his gaze off me.” With a wave of my hand and a pointed gesture towards the exit, I ushered him out, only to hear him protesting, “No, I insist on sticking around with you.

Later, Will explicitly stated, “Leave AJ behind!” However, he was spotted holding her hand while they showcased their subsequent live segment together.

Audience members also expressed their concerns by stating: “Now I’m worried about every woman living there given Mickey’s behavior towards AJ during the live broadcast.

‘I needed a scandal this season and i believe mickey rourke will provide it.’

‘Oh dear. Not a fan of Mickey already after that entrance.’

‘Everyone’s joking about Mickey Rouke and I get why, but I want to be serious for a second.’

Celebrity Big Brother continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
