Mickey Rourke is staying in a luxury hotel while facing possible eviction from his Los Angeles house. He’s said to owe over $59,000 in back rent.
Page Six reports that the 73-year-old actor, once a major Hollywood star, is currently staying at a popular West Hollywood hotel. Rooms there cost at least $550 per night.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw photos of the Oscar-nominated actor yesterday! He was wearing a wig and leaving his house with his dog, and it looked like he had packed some things in a bag. It was a really surprising sight!
The actress from Sin City was seen wearing a cowboy hat, with some of her long hair peeking out from underneath. This was a change from her recent look, where she had shaved her head and looked completely different.
His friend and business partner also started a GoFundMe campaign on Sunday to help the actor avoid eviction. By Monday afternoon, the campaign had already raised $87,509, getting closer to its $100,000 goal.
Daily Mail has reached out to Rourke’s representatives for comment.

The actor from The Wrestler paired a leather jacket with a black shirt and low-rise jeans, showing a bit of his stomach.
I’ve been following Rourke for a while now, and it’s always been fascinating to me. It’s surprising to hear he struggles financially, even though he seems successful – people describe him as ‘rich poor’ and living paycheck to paycheck. In recent photos, I noticed he was wearing a big silver cross necklace and a classic black leather belt – simple touches, but they really stand out.
On Monday, two men were observed at Rourke’s house in Los Angeles carrying bags of clothes and a suitcase, and putting them into a truck.
Director Eric Spade Rivas heard about Robert Downey Jr.’s money troubles and offered him a small role in his new movie, ‘Scarface Resurrection.’ He told TMZ he’d pay Downey Jr. $1,000 to appear in a single, two-minute scene.
Back in 2020, Rourke agreed to star in Rivas’ independent film, The Duke of New York, for a fee of $5,000, but he later decided not to participate.
Rivas shared that he feels bad about how it played out and wants to make amends.
Rivas agrees Rourke has earned more compensation, but explains that, as an independent filmmaker with limited resources, $1,000 is the maximum he can afford.
He announced that the film is nearing completion of post-production. The movie also features Ángel Salazar, who famously played Chi Chi in the movie Scarface.
We’re aiming to release the movie in April, so if Rourke agrees to appear, his cameo would be filmed very close to the release date.

It came to light earlier today that a GoFundMe campaign has been started to help Stephen Dorff with his money troubles.
Liya-Joelle Jones, a friend and colleague of the Oscar-nominated actor from The Wrestler, created the online fundraiser with his approval, according to a statement on the GoFundMe page.
The online fundraiser for Mickey launched early Sunday, titled ‘Support Mickey to Prevent Eviction.’ It highlighted his long career in Hollywood, aiming to encourage people to donate and help him through a difficult financial situation.
According to Jones, Mickey Rooney’s performances felt authentic and natural, as if he wasn’t acting at all, and had a lasting impact on American cinema. He was well-known for roles in films like Diner, Rumble Fish, and 9½ Weeks.
According to a recent post, Jones stated that Rourke is in serious financial trouble and could lose his home because of possible eviction.
Said Jones: ‘Fame does not protect against hardship, and talent does not guarantee stability.
‘What remains is a person who deserves dignity, housing, and the chance to regain his footing.’

Jones explained that the fundraising campaign for Rourke is meant to help him feel secure and less stressed right now, allowing him to remain in his home and focus on rebuilding his life.
According to documents obtained by Daily Mail, a GoFundMe campaign started just after Rourke’s landlord demanded he pay $59,100 in back rent or move out immediately.
According to a lawsuit filed by Eric T. Goldie, the actor from Angel Heart received a three-day notice on December 18th demanding either payment or eviction.
Philip Rourke Jr., known as Rourke, has been living in a three-bedroom house in Southern California since March 30th. He signed a lease and is paying $5,200 in rent each month.
According to a lawsuit filed December 29th in Los Angeles, Goldie claims the actor hasn’t followed the court order requiring him to either pay what he owes or leave the property.
Goldie requested the court order the actor to pay her legal fees related to attempting to recover the unpaid rent, and also asked that he be relieved of any further obligations under the lease.
Jones shared with The Hollywood Reporter that she was touched by the initial positive response to the fundraising effort for the Iron Man 2 actor.
Jones said that Mickey is having a tough time, and it’s been heartwarming to see so much support for him.
Rourke surprised people with his drastically changed appearance, appearing noticeably thinner and with a shaved head when he was recently seen leaving his home in Los Angeles.
Fans were surprised to see the actor looking quite different from his former, glamorous self when he collected a Taco Bell delivery at his house on New Year’s Day.

In his most recent appearance, Rourke has lost most of his hair, leaving him nearly bald. A source told the Daily Mail that the actor has truly embraced a wild, rock-and-roll lifestyle.
I was really shocked to hear about Ryan Rourke leaving Celebrity Big Brother. It seems he got into trouble for some really inappropriate comments and actions towards JoJo Siwa, and it unfortunately involved bringing up her sexuality. It was definitely a controversial exit, and honestly, pretty upsetting to watch.
Last April, Rourke’s manager, Kimberly Hines, told People magazine that the producers of Celebrity Big Brother knew about Rourke’s reputation and how it fit his image as a Hollywood rebel before choosing him for the show.
Hines explained that Rourke was selected for the show because of his tendency to be outspoken, provocative, and create buzz. According to Hines, Rourke delivered on that expectation and even exceeded it.
