Fans of actress Michelle Trachtenberg, known for her role in Gossip Girl, expressed worry after she posted 10 messages on Instagram within the last three weeks prior to her death at the age of 39.
Prior to her shock passing, the star was extremely active on social media.
7 days ago, she shared an old photo on Instagram as a flashback, depicting her attendance at the Killing Kennedy premiere held at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on November 4, 2013.
She wrote ‘I wished to resemble mischievous Tinker Bell’ as her caption for the photo showing her striking a pose on the red carpet.
A few days ago, she posted an old photo along with a light-hearted comment, hinting that she wouldn’t let the “Sunday blues” affect her.
She seemed to be reminiscing, as she had recently posted a photo taken in 2011 at the School of American Ballet Winter Ball, and playfully advised those without Valentine’s Day arrangements to check out her true crime docuseries, Meet, Marry, Murder.
Furthermore, she expressed a touching homage towards her partner, talented agent Jay Cohen, whom she likened to the subject who remains patient during portrait painting sessions.

On Wednesday morning, around 8 o’clock local time, Trachtenberg’s mother discovered her deceased in her apartment close to Columbus Circle, New York City. This information was reported by police sources to ABC News.
It has also been shared that the actress might have faced some difficulties following her recent liver transplant.
According to reports in The New York Post, it’s thought she passed away due to natural reasons, and the authorities do not suspect foul play in her death.
In the limelight for portraying Dawn Summers, Buffy’s younger sister on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, over a span of 66 episodes between 2000 and 2003, was none other than Michelle Trachtenberg.
Additionally, she played a repeated character named Georgina Sparks, who was known as the “Witch of the Upper East Side” on the TV show Gossip Girl from the years 2008 to 2012.
Lately, Trachtenberg’s wellbeing has been a topic of worry due to concerning social media posts that depicted her as appearing weak.
