Michelle McManus displays incredible 9st weight loss in a stylish navy coat at The Fifth Step premiere in Edinburgh

Michelle McManus showed off her amazing weight loss of nine stone while attending the premiere of “The Fifth Step” in Edinburgh, Scotland on Tuesday. She looked stylish in a navy coat.

Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates, age 45, went to a showing of a new play by David Ireland. The play, about two men attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, features Jack Lowden and Martin Freeman, known for his role in ‘Slow Horses’.

After a successful run in London, the play The Fifth Step has been filmed for National Theatre Live and will be shown in cinemas starting in late November.

Michelle has previously spoke about her battle with weight and journey to sobriety.

She shared last year that changing her body also meant changing how she thought about herself, learning to prioritize self-love and recognize her own value.

Last year, she shared advice with her Instagram followers after losing an impressive 9 stone in 17 weeks.

I’ve received a lot of kind messages lately asking about my weight loss journey. Many people have asked how I lost 9 stone over the last 17 months.

I used to go around in circles, constantly looking for the perfect diet that would magically transform me. I really believed there was a quick fix out there that would instantly make me healthier and happier.

I used to fantasize about discovering some magical solution – a quick fix, like waving a wand – that would instantly transform me into the person I believed I needed to be in order to be happy.

Let’s be honest, there’s no quick fix or magic solution. What I’ve found is that having the right support system is even more effective.

‘I was at a point where I felt completely lost and out of control, unsure of where to turn next.’

Michelle has been showing her fans what her workouts look like, as she’s been going to the gym often.

Michelle shared the stage with Robbie Williams in June, performing for an audience of 70,000 people at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

The Scottish singer performed “Relight My Fire” with the Take That member, 44, after he unexpectedly invited her to join him on stage.

Michelle thanked Robbie for his ‘unconditional kindness’ and gave an insight into her night. 

The video shows her preparing behind the scenes before surprising the audience by appearing on stage in a vibrant red lace dress alongside Robbie.

Michelle said she’s still trying to process what happened Saturday night at Murrayfield Stadium. She’s been thinking about it for almost a full day.

It was an unforgettable experience singing in front of 70,000 people, especially with such a huge star performing with me. I want to thank everyone who came and cheered – your support means everything to me.

Watching your incredible performance last night – holding the audience captivated for over two hours – was truly amazing. You delivered a masterclass in singing and stage presence! Beyond that, you’re a wonderful person, and I feel so fortunate to have you as a friend.

It’s been 22 years since I won Pop Idol, and I’m incredibly grateful to still be performing well after all this time.
