Michelle Keegan’s returning hit comedy confirms release date
As a seasoned gamer of life, who’s navigated through countless episodes of TV shows and seen more plot twists than I can count, I can’t help but feel a wave of excitement at the news of Brassic’s return! With a life that’s been as chaotic as Vinnie O’Neill’s, I could use a dose of the madcap antics that this show serves up so brilliantly.
Sky has confirmed a release date for Brassic season six.
On September 26th, the popular comedy series on Sky One, featuring Michelle Keegan, will make its comeback to our screens with a fresh batch of humor and adventures starring Vinnie O’Neill, portrayed by Joe Gilgun from “This Is England,” and his group of friends.
The announcement regarding the next season was made on Sky’s official X account, accompanied by a fresh promotional poster for season 6. The caption says, “Get ready, they’re coming back. #Brassic is returning for series 6 on September 26.
The sixth season is set to offer an exciting, whirlwind adventure filled with man-eating crocs, bigamous individuals, and a cult without any clothing, as hinted by the teaser trailer which includes a swiftly moving funeral carriage.
As a devoted viewer, I must brace myself for intensified turmoil from the MacDonaghs, as their mischief-making seems poised to shift into high gear. Additionally, the closing episodes may hold some emotional farewells that are deeply felt.
Keegan is once again playing the role of Erin Croft, with several familiar faces rejoining the cast. These include Ryan Sampson, Tom Hanson, Bronagh Gallagher, Joanna Higson, Aaron Heffernan, Parth Thakerar, Bhavna Limbachia, and Steve Evets.
In June, it was revealed that the show “Brassic” would return for its seventh season, which is three months before the airing of season six.
Overjoyed with the announcement, Danny Brocklehurst, one of the show’s co-creators, expressed in a statement then: “Brassic is a joy to produce and I feel honored to continue causing mischief for our dedicated fanbase.
As per Sky’s report, the seventh season is expected to mark a significant milestone with its 50th episode, making it their largest original comedy production to date.
Towards the end of last month, the initial four seasons of Brassic became available on Netflix UK, making the comedy accessible to a fresh streaming audience. To date, the show has released five seasons and, for the first time ever, a Christmas special in 2023.
Brassic is currently streaming on Sky Max and NOW, with seasons 1 through 4 available on Netflix. The sixth season will debut on Sky and NOW on September 26.
