Michelle Keegan admits her relationship with husband Mark Wright is becoming ‘boring’

As a longtime admirer of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s love story, reading about their recent confession that they’ve entered the “boring phase” of their relationship brings a smile to my face, knowing their journey has been anything but dull. Having followed their careers for years, I can attest that their success has not come without hard work and dedication.

As a devoted partner, I find myself admitting that my relationship with my spouse, Mark Wright, has reached a somewhat monotonous stage in our lives together.

For more than ten years, the actress, aged 37, and the reality television personality, who is likewise 37, have been a couple. They exchanged vows in a lavish £1 million wedding held in Suffolk back in 2015.

And now, Michelle has revealed that herself and Mark now favour a night in over late-nights out.

Michelle shared with Closer Magazine that she enjoys spending evenings at home cuddled up with our pets while watching television and unwinding, yet she also appreciates dressing up and going out for a nice dinner with us.

Back in the day, we would dine out and socialize until late at night. Nowadays, as soon as it hits 9:30 PM post dinner, I find myself glancing at my watch and suggesting that we head back home for an early night. It’s not quite as exciting anymore.

Over the past few years, their workload has been heavy, making it unsurprising that they cherish spending high-quality time at home as a couple due to their hectic routines.

Last month, Michelle unveiled a romantic tribute for her husband Mark as she showed off a new addition to their £3.5 million Essex mansion.

Looking at the breathtaking artwork created by David Howarth, the Fool Me Once sensation confessed she got a chill – or goosebumps, to put it more casually.

On Saturday, I took to my Instagram stories and shared a picture of the white panel in our kitchen, which bore the words: ‘A space within my heart is reserved exclusively for you.’

In honor of the artist, Michelle titled the photo: “@davohowarth never fails to amaze me… honestly, I get chills every time I see it.

A unique artwork that I will hold dear for all time, much like the one he crafted in my living room some years back. It’s truly extraordinary.

For several years, the couple has been chronicling their extensive renovation process of their grand estate in Essex, which began back in 2019 and concluded last August. To commemorate the completion, they threw an extravagant pool party.

I simply can’t get enough of the breathtaking transformation that Michelle and Mark have been sharing on their Instagram, @wrightyhome! The property they initially purchased for a cool £1.3 million was nothing short of ordinary, but now it stands as their ultimate dream home after a complete makeover. It’s an absolute joy to follow their journey!

In an interview with The Observer last year, Michelle said: ‘I was filming in Australia and hadn’t seen the house for months. And when I walked in, Mark had lit all the candles and… I couldn’t speak for five minutes.

He asked, “What are your thoughts?” However, I found myself at a loss for words due to my overwhelming emotions. In the end, tears just streamed down my face. Even now, thinking about it stirs up emotions within me. This is because we’ve invested significant effort and made numerous sacrifices towards achieving this.

This extraordinary residence boasts five bedrooms, a bar, a movie theater, a sauna, a state-of-the-art kitchen tailored to specific needs, and a private fitness center. In addition, it offers an indoor soccer field for five players, or alternatively, a spacious kitchen area.
