Michelle Heaton shared a frightening story about being attacked by a man while she was with Liberty X. She explained the incident was so shocking that the band had to stop performing immediately, and she was left deeply shaken.
The 46-year-old singer shared that the pop group faced scary situations while touring Europe in the 2000s. One incident involved a car full of fans following them so closely that it forced their tour vehicle to swerve off the road.
The most unsettling part of the tour happened in Germany when the band was walking through the crowd towards the stage.
Michelle explained that everyone was walking hand-in-hand to stay together when a man unexpectedly hit her, causing her to fall to the ground.
She told The Mirror that a man punched her, knocking her to the ground. She said that Kevin Simm turned around and didn’t see her standing, because she was already on the ground.
Security quickly stepped in, helped her up, and guided the group out of the venue, leading to the immediate cancellation of the show.

After reviewing security footage, police were able to identify the person who attacked the band. The incident was very upsetting for the group and led them to significantly increase their security. As a result, their team added extra protection and cancelled several planned nightclub performances.
She added: ‘We were always watching our backs. But that was definitely the scariest moment.’
Michelle noted that today’s celebrities are facing similar problems, recalling recent events like when Ariana Grande was unexpectedly rushed by a fan at the Wicked premiere in Singapore.
She pointed out that this kind of unwanted attention still happens, citing the recent incident where Ariana Grande was bothered on the ‘Wicked’ movie premiere carpet, and how quickly it occurred.
‘Mind-boggling.’
Michelle rose to prominence over 20 years ago on the ITV show Popstars, which followed hopeful singers as they auditioned to join a new band.
Michelle and four other singers – Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor, and Kelli Young – came together to create the band Liberty X.
Even though they finished second on the show, they actually became more successful than the winners, Hear’Say, releasing ten singles that all reached the top 20 in the UK.

The band split in 2007, briefly reuniting in 2013 for ITV’s The Big Reunion.
Michelle continues to perform with Jessica and Kelli, and is preparing for a UK tour next year with the Ultimate Girl Band Show. The show will feature West End singers performing the biggest hits from legendary girl groups like the Spice Girls, TLC, and the Pussycat Dolls.
Michelle, a contestant on the current season of Celebrity MasterChef, was nearly in tears earlier this week after a significant mistake while cooking.
She’s a contestant on the cooking show, joined by familiar faces like Chris Hughes from Love Island, writer Dawn O’Porter, singer Jaki Graham, and actor Jamie Lomas.
The mother of two said she was really disappointed after accidentally burning her sweet potato fries and having to quickly find a different meal solution.
Michelle was making halloumi burgers with sweet chili jam and planned to serve them with fries. However, she realized the potatoes for the fries were looking soft and undercooked.
She tried to make the chips crispier by putting them back in the oven, but she left them in for too long. They ended up burnt and filled the kitchen with smoke.

She burst into tears, covering her face with her hands. “Oh no!” she exclaimed, utterly dismayed. “I can’t believe I burned the sweet potato fries!”
Okay, so things didn’t quite go as planned in the kitchen – a total cooking mishap, honestly! But you know what? I’m a firm believer in rolling with it. I wasn’t about to let a little mistake ruin dinner. I quickly salvaged things by chopping up some more sweet potatoes and getting them frying. I’ll admit though, I was pretty disappointed – totally gutted, as they say! But the show must go on, right? It’s all about turning a setback into something delicious.
When presenting her dish, John Torode pointed out a mistake, saying, “You really messed up.” Michelle quickly agreed, saying, “It was a huge disaster!”
Despite the challenges, the judge commended her ability to quickly recover and adapt, emphasizing that the spirit of the show was all about perseverance.
