On Wednesday, it was disclosed that Michelle Dockery is expecting her first baby. Later in the week, photos emerged of her showing up at the Downton Abbey premiere afterparty in London.
At the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square, the 43-year-old actress showed off her expanding belly on the red carpet, publicly announcing her pregnancy.
She joined her husband, film producer Jasper Waller-Bridge, 37, as they announced their happy news.

Clad in an elegant, powder blue off-shoulder ball gown that accentuated my growing bump, I couldn’t help but exude confidence. The fitted bodice hugged me just right, making it easy for me to showcase the beautiful transformation my body has undergone during this exciting phase of my life.
She has portrayed fan-favourite Lady Mary Crawley since the period drama debuted on ITV in 2010.
Upon reaching the post-party gathering, Michelle switched her attire and donned a relaxed long black dress, complementing it with a long, crisp white coat.
Her husband Jasper was by his side as he ensured his wife and their unborn child were looked after.
Michelle was accompanied by her stylish fellow actors such as Joanne Froggatt, Dominic West, Laura Carmichael, Sophie McShera, and Joely Richardson.
During the UK premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale on Wednesday evening, Nadiya Bychkova flashed a bright smile as she exited the event after her fall.
A professional dancer from Strictly Come Dancing, aged 36, was captured grinning upon exiting the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.
Despite the gloomy weather ruining the red-carpet event, she seemed cheerful after watching the movie, radiating joy in her white evening dress.
The elegant, sophisticated white dress boasted a deep V-neck and long sleeves, projecting an air of refinement.
During the premiere on Wednesday night, Nadiya’s fellow Strictly dance partner, Neil Jones, was also seen exiting, elegantly dressed in a dark navy suit. However, he demonstrated chivalry by offering his coat to his partner, Chyna Mills.
Additionally, Verity Bowditch, who impressed in a brown asymmetrical dress, and Emma Walsh, wearing a black off-the-shoulder gown, were also photographed departing.
Earlier, it became known that Strictly contestant Nadiya ended up in the hospital after slipping and landing on her back during practice sessions on Tuesday.
While training in North London, she suffered a back injury that caused intense pain. As a result, the team had to call for an ambulance to assist her.
Later on, Nadiya posted a photo taken at the hospital, informing her followers about her injury status and indicating when they might see her dancing once more.

Nadiya added, “In that photograph, I’m flashing a smile, but behind it, I was truly petrified and shed a few tears. You see, I had to remain motionless for extended hours, which was quite nerve-wracking. However, following an x-ray examination, the results were reassuring, and I was given the green light to head home.
As a dedicated enthusiast, I’m gearing up for my physical therapy session today, but rest assured, this brief break won’t keep me away from the dance floor for long! The thrill of the stage under the spotlight in the upcoming season of the most acclaimed television show is too irresistible. I can hardly wait to dazzle and sparkle once again, ready to shine brighter than ever!
Yesterday during training, I took a fall and ended up landing on my back. For a little while, I was quite concerned, but I’m grateful for the swift assistance from the Strictly crew and the medical team. They provided exceptional care to me.
