Michael Sheen, 57, reveals daughter Lyra, six, works as his ‘unofficial agent’ as he shares a rare insight into family life with Anna Lundberg, 32

Michael Sheen shared that his daughter, Lyra, playfully pretends to be his agent, offering a charming glimpse into their family life.

Fifty-seven-year-old Welsh actor Michael Sheen is a father to three children. He shares six-year-old and four-year-old Mabli with his partner, Anna Lundberg, 32, and also has a 26-year-old daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, with his former partner, Kate Beckinsale.

He shared on the ‘Hanging Out’ podcast with Ant and Dec how his daughter first realized he was well-known.

Michael chuckled, explaining that his six-year-old daughter, Lyra, loves to excitedly announce, “Michael Sheen is here!” whenever they’re in public.

He shared that his child had observed when fans approached the actor and playfully tried to introduce herself to them as well.

Once my daughter realized I was on television, she started acting like my agent, announcing ‘Michael Sheen is here!’ whenever I arrived.

Michael previously discussed the 25-year age difference between him and Anna on the BBC show, The Assembly. He answered questions from a panel of 35 neurodivergent individuals, and some of those questions were quite personal.

A reporter playfully asked the Good Omens actor how he felt about dating someone only five years older than his daughter, Lily.

Michael, who has been dating Swedish actress Anna – his co-star in the show Staged – said they were both a little surprised to become a couple, likely due to their age difference.

Neither of us expected to find ourselves in this situation. I hadn’t intentionally sought out younger partners, but you never know who you’ll connect with. We both knew there could be challenges due to our age difference and were mindful of how others might react.

It wasn’t easy, and we both knew it would be tough. But despite the challenges, we felt the connection we shared made it worthwhile.

As a lifestyle expert, and more importantly, a dad, I feel incredibly blessed to have two wonderful children. Being an older father definitely brings a unique perspective, and honestly, it does come with some worries. I often find myself thinking about the years ahead and wanting to make the most of every moment with them, which can be a little bittersweet. It just makes me cherish our time together even more.

I believe that if you find someone who makes you happy, and you can make them happy too, you should definitely pursue that relationship. I’m so glad we did, because we now have a wonderful family.

He and Kate began dating after meeting while performing in a touring production of The Seagull in 1995. Their daughter was born four years later, in 1999.

They split after seven years together but remained close friends.
