1xBet has become the first official betting sponsor for MIBR’s VALORANT team, thanks to new sponsorship guidelines from Riot Games.

Riot Games recently allowed its partnered esports teams to work with betting companies, and MIBR’s VALORANT team is the first to take advantage of this new rule, announcing a partnership with 1xBet.

1xBet, an online gambling company, has become the first official betting partner for MIBR VALORANT, according to a recent announcement to Xpsp. This partnership is the first of its kind under Riot Games’ updated regulations.

If Riot Games’ statements from June are still accurate, 1xBet would have needed to complete a thorough review and approval process before this partnership could happen.

1xBet announced the partnership will center around building a more engaging experience for VALORANT fans worldwide and growing the team’s audience. It will also include collaborations with streamer Gustavo “Sacy” Ross, who currently plays for MIBR.

MIBR isn’t the only esports team to partner with 1xBet. Several other teams, including the CS2 squad 9z, also accept sponsorships from this company, often with fewer restrictions.

1xBet frequently sponsors esports events, including IEM Cologne 2025. Several teams they sponsor, such as MIBR, Aurora, and The MongolZ, competed in the event.
