As I delve into this heartwarming tale of Mia’s grand wedding, I can’t help but be swept away by the sheer opulence and star-studded guest list. With a career that skyrocketed her to fame at a tender age, it seems fitting that she would celebrate such a momentous occasion in a manner befitting a child star turned adult icon.

Mia McKenna-Bruce shared a heartwarming story about how Tom Leach popped the question to her, following their recent wedding this month.

Last year, the actress married her actor boyfriend Tom in a countryside home in Somerset, following the arrival of their son Leo a year prior.

27-year-old actress from “And the How to Have Sex” shared details about her fiance’s proposal. She disclosed that he prepared her favorite breakfast and presented her with a heartfelt card as a surprise.

In an interview with British Vogue regarding their wedding, Mia looked back on the proposal and shared: ‘Tom prepared a delightful breakfast featuring crumpets, knowing I’m fond of them. Afterward, he surprised me with a card, something unusual for him as he isn’t typically romantic. The card asked, “Are you ready to get married? Yes or no?” with checkboxes.’

On their wedding day at Brympton House, in Yeovil, Mia shared during the reception that Tom had joked in his speech about her not really clicking “yes” on their engagement. “I was so caught up in the excitement,” she chuckled.

The pair rented the entire 31-bedroom mansion, inviting their relatives and numerous actor companions to enjoy and celebrate their special occasion together.

Mia had stunning weather for the day of her wedding, but according to her this is no coincidence.

She mentioned that she and Tom had been told that burying a sausage the previous evening would guarantee a sunny day, so they thought it might be worth testing this theory. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a sausage, but they did manage to find some pepperoni from a pizza slice instead, which they buried instead.

At the skillfully ornate event, Mia disclosed that Tom’s father was once part of a band, and she had earlier invited him to perform at their wedding, only for him to decline because he wasn’t able to.

In an unexpected turn of events, and even though he was nervous, he amazed the bride by singing her beloved song, Wonderwall.

At Mia’s wedding, it was Leo, the couple’s son, who captured everyone’s attention while playing hide-and-seek dressed in her wedding gown, becoming the undeniable scene-stealer.

Mia donned a veil and tiara, accessorizing her long, cream-colored dress that touched a big, black medical boot covering her injured foot at the moment.

On the pebble-strewn entrance of a Grade I listed manor, she joyfully danced to “Sweet Caroline” alongside her friends and her newlywed partner, whom she met in 2019 during filming for the show “Rebels”.

In 2022, the house was showcased in Netflix’s version of Jane Austen’s “Persuasion,” with Mia playing the role of Mary Elliot, the younger sister to Anne Elliot, portrayed by Dakota Johnson.

The guests came over to the premium location a day before the Sunday afternoon wedding, spending the night there as the cost for their wedding packages could reach an impressive £37,500.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I recently found myself lounging in a set of pristine white pajamas, savoring a delightful mimosa, and adorning under-eye masks – all while preparing for a special occasion with my beloved sister, Anya, and our bridesmaids on the enchanting morning of a wedding.

In the morning, a luxurious preparation suite was made available for the wedding party, featuring a delightful Bucks Fizz breakfast and a four-course meal. After dinner, they also offered some tasty midnight snacks to satisfy any late-night cravings.

At the location, you have £3,000 to spend on decorations, including a stunning sparkler arch and an option between a photo booth or a Nightcap package.

On the following day, Mia was spotted reclining on a luxurious four-poster bed adorned in a green silky gown and sunglasses, alongside her closest companions. Accompanying the photograph, she wrote: “Recovering from the wedding buzz.”

Reflecting on this past year, I’ve experienced a rollercoaster of emotions, transforming from a child star into a loving mother. Last August, my heart expanded when I welcomed my little boy Leo into the world. Fast forward to February, I was taken aback by the incredible honor bestowed upon me as the recipient of BAFTA’s Rising Star award. It’s been an unpredictable and exhilarating journey, one that I am grateful for every single day.

Back in 2013, I had the privilege of crossing paths with the esteemed Emily Burnett, a renowned actress from Hollyoaks and a fellow BAFTA winner, on the set of the CBBC’s Tracey Beaker spin-off, The Dumping Ground.

As a devoted fan and follower, I had the pleasure of attending my co-star Lara Peake’s wedding, along with our show’s director Molly Manning Walker, makeup artist Dominique Desveaux, and costume designers Nancy Kane and George Buxton. It was an honor to be in their presence on such a special day.

Augusta Woods, both an actress and producer who acted alongside Mia in the 2024 short film Sister Wives, was present at the event as well. She posted several pictures of her friend’s special day on her Instagram account.

As I, a lifestyle enthusiast, gear up for my big day, I recently hosted my bachelorette party, a delightful Italian-themed soiree, held two weeks prior to the wedding itself, right here in the picturesque county of Kent.

Over the weekend, she posted a sequence of photos showing herself in a brief white gown, using crutches and wearing a medical boot. In one of them, she was also adorned with a bride’s tiara.
