Mia Goth shares a sweet hug with co-star Jacob Elordi as she stuns at the Frankenstein premiere in Paris

At the Paris premiere of their film, *Frankenstein*, Mia Goth and Jacob Elordi shared a friendly embrace on Friday.

The 31-year-old actress looked stunning in a navy blue dress with sparkly tulle detailing.

She accessorised with delicate earrings and added height to her slender frame with open-toe heels.

Meanwhile, Jacob, 28, cut a dapper figure in a classic black suit paired with a crisp white shirt.

The couple seemed happy and relaxed, talking and laughing with each other before walking onto the red carpet.

Frankenstein, arrives on Netflix November 7.

Ever since Mary Shelley wrote the novel *Frankenstein* in 1818, the story has been adapted into countless movies, television shows, and comics.

Oscar Isaac, known for his role in ‘Inside Llewyn Davis,’ plays Victor Frankenstein in the newest version of the classic story. Jacob, famous for his work in ‘Saltburn’ and ‘Euphoria,’ is almost completely transformed as Frankenstein’s creature.

The first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s reimagining of Frankenstein revealed Jacob as the Monster in June.

During Dr. Victor Frankenstein’s attempt to bring something back to life with electricity, a brief view of a masked figure resembling an Australian appeared, standing with arms outstretched like a crucifix.

The photos showed Jacob, a large man standing six foot five and wearing a cloak, battling multiple opponents on the deck of a sailing ship.

The film, set in 19th-century Eastern Europe, includes a chilling glimpse of Jacob Elordi’s character, the Monster, appearing far off in a snowy landscape – despite being thought to have perished in a fire four decades earlier.

Mike Hill, having previously worked on Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities in 2022, led the prosthetic makeup team.

‘I had determined that the memory of my evils should die with me,’ Frankenstein said in voiceover.

‘Some of what I will tell you is fact. Some is not. But it is all true.’

An unseen man asked: ‘What manner of creature is that? What manner of devil made him?’

‘I did,’ Frankenstein replied.

I had a sudden, powerful idea – something I felt was destined to happen. It consumed me until it became reality. But in my attempt to find life, I unintentionally brought about destruction.

The Monster is heard growling before screaming his creator’s name: ‘Victor!’

The lead actor and producer of ‘On Swift Horses’ landed the coveted role of the Monster, following earlier attempts to cast Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Doug Jones in the part.

More than fourteen movies have been made about Frankenstein, including the famous 1931 film with Boris Karloff and a 1994 adaptation starring Robert De Niro.

This isn’t the same as the new version of *The Bride* directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, which is set in the 1930s and opens in the US and UK on March 6th. That film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Christian Bale, Penelope Cruz, Annette Bening, and Jessie Buckley.
