Mia Goth cuts an edgy figure in a black leather dress as she joins Frankenstein co-star Jacob Elordi at an immersive exhibition to celebrate the film at Old Selfridges Hotel

Mia Goth and Jacob Elordi, stars of the new horror film Frankenstein, were at an event in London on Tuesday. The event was an interactive exhibition celebrating the movie, held at the Old Selfridges Hotel.

The 31-year-old actress, playing the romantic partner to the well-known character, chose a stylish black leather dress for the photo event in the city.

Mia looked stunning at the launch event in a sleek, black leather dress with white detailing.

She’ll be joined by her co-stars Jacob, Oscar Isaac, and Christoph Waltz when the exhibition opens on Friday. It will be open on certain days through November 9th.

This event will honor Guillermo del Toro’s incredible imagination and the amazing work of everyone who helped create his film.

The exhibit will showcase a huge range of items from the movie, including props, artwork, costumes, and jewelry from Tiffany & Co. It will also feature a collection of rare books selected by Peter Harrington to celebrate the life and work of Mary Shelley.

The trailer released in June offered the first look at Jacob’s change into the famous Monster, depicting the instant he’s brought to life by Dr. Frankenstein’s electricity.

The trailer featured exciting action sequences, including the impressively tall character concealed by a cloak as he battled multiple opponents on the deck of a sailing ship. Another dramatic scene showed him standing far off in a snowy setting.

In a voiceover from the film *Frankenstein*, Oscar’s character states: ‘I’ve decided to take my secrets with me when I die. What I’m about to tell you is a mix of truth and fiction, but it feels real to me.’

An unseen man then asks: ‘What manner of creature is that? What manner of devil made him?’

Oscar’s Frankenstein responds, explaining he had a powerful vision – an idea that formed in his mind and felt destined to become reality. He says that in his attempt to create life, he inadvertently brought about death.

The Monster is heard growling before screaming his creator’s name: ‘Victor!’

Jacob landed the lead role in Monster after Andrew Garfield, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Doug Jones were all considered for the part.

Guillermo offered him the part only nine weeks before filming began, after Andrew unexpectedly had to leave due to a conflict in his schedule.

When I heard Jacob was joining the project, he explained it was a bit of a rush! He’d just finished reading ‘The Narrow Road To The Deep North’ and only had three or four weeks to prepare before we all started working together.

It seemed like an enormous challenge, but as Guillermo pointed out, the feast was already prepared and everyone had already begun to enjoy it.

He explained that he was attracted to the role because it allowed him to fully express himself. He felt that everything he had experienced – from his birth to the present moment – was reflected in his performance.

The character I play on screen feels like the truest version of myself – more authentic than even how I present as an actor. It’s wonderful when an audience can connect with a character, and I’m only fully appreciating that now, looking back.

The Euphoria actor had previously shared that he chose to use a Yorkshire accent for his role.

He revealed to the Daily Mail in August that the creature’s accent is indeed Yorkshire. He explained that David Bradley, who played the blind man in the film and is from Yorkshire, influenced the creature’s speech. The creature essentially learns to speak by imitating the blind man, resulting in hints of a Yorkshire accent.

More than fourteen movies have been made adapting the story of Frankenstein, including the iconic 1931 film with Boris Karloff and a 1994 version starring Robert De Niro.

Okay, so I’m *completely* obsessed, and everyone’s talking about how Netflix is really, REALLY hoping this movie finally gets them that Best Picture Oscar! They’re putting a lot of faith in it, along with those other amazing films like the George Clooney drama, ‘Jay Kelly,’ and Katherine Bigelow’s intense thriller, ‘A House of Dynamite.’ It feels like *this* could be the year for Netflix, honestly!

Guillermo, the acclaimed director who has won three Oscars, revealed this movie was a lifelong dream, something he’d wanted to create ever since he was a child.

He described the film as a lifelong passion, almost a religious experience. Growing up Catholic, he felt a reverence for Boris Karloff’s performance, viewing the actor as a kind of saint on screen.

I had to wait until I had the resources to create something substantial. I finally achieved that goal – I was able to rebuild everything. But now I’m struggling with postpartum depression.

The movie *Frankenstein* first premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in August, competing for the top prize.

The movie will have a short run in theaters starting October 17th, and then it will be available to stream on Netflix beginning November 7th.
