Mia Farrow supported by ‘very proud’ son Ronan as she lands first Tony Awards nod at 80
For the first time, Mia Farrow, a new nominee, attended the 78th Tony Awards, held in Radio City Music Hall, Midtown Manhattan, on a Sunday. Accompanying her was her good-luck talisman – her son Ronan Farrow.
The elderly actress shone brightly, looking stylish in a cream-colored, three-piece white pantsuit that included platform shoes, a matching bag, and a touch of gold.

The 80-year-old actress gleamed with elegance, dressed in a cream-colored, three-piece pantsuit featuring white trousers, platform boots, a golden purse, and complementing accessories.
Instead of wearing the same elegant outfits as his renowned mother, the 37-year-old Pulitzer Prize laureate opted for a sleek black silk suit and polished dress shoes in a distinctive departure from her style.
Mia, formerly known as Maria, had Ronan, originally named Satchel, while in an 11-year relationship with her ex-partner Woody Allen. However, it has been widely speculated that Ronan might actually be the biological child of the legendary singer, Frank Sinatra.
Joining the Farrow mother-son duo was his partner Hamer Morgenstern dressed in a classic tuxedo.
Excitedly, I’m attending the Tony Awards alongside my mom, Mia Farrow, who’s been nominated! So incredibly proud!” While on Instagram, a New Yorker journalist expressed his enthusiasm and kept his fingers crossed.

In fact, the actress who was born in Beverly Hills and is often referred to as a “nepo baby,” received her initial Tony Award nomination for exceptional acting in a play category for portraying Sharon, an Iowa homeowner, in The Roommate. This was her fourth appearance on Broadway in a play production.
Interestingly, despite performing in Jen Silverman’s two-player production alongside Mia’s Roommate (Patti LuPone), she was surprisingly overlooked for a nomination post the controversy surrounding her comment about Broadway peer Audra McDonald not being a friend.
However, Farrow disclosed in a recent interview that her character takes on the majority of the tasks: ‘It was mostly me, as you’ll find if you read the script, since I start almost every dialogue myself.’
Ultimately, the performer from Rosemary’s Baby found herself not receiving a Tony Award, as it was given instead to Sarah Snook, a cast member from Succession, during the award ceremony. This recognition came after Sarah made her Broadway premiere as the main character in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Ronan played a significant role in propelling the #MeToo campaign forward by producing “Catch and Kill,” which encompassed a book, podcast, and an HBO series, focusing on the fall of the film producer Harvey Weinstein.
Farrow also criticized sexual misconduct allegations against various public figures, including Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Matt Lauer, Les Moonves, among others.
Everything seems to have originated from a strained relationship in reality between the celebrated star and his 89-year-old father, due to allegations made by Mia that the disgraced movie director had molested their adoptive daughter Dylan when she was only seven years old in 1992.

A week past, finding myself still uncharged and without any legal proceedings, I initiated a lawsuit against Mia, aiming to secure full custodial rights over Ronan and our adopted kids, Dylan and Moses.
In a 33-page ruling from 1993, Justice Elliott Wilk denied Woody (Allan Konigsberg)’s request for full custody of all three children and labeled his conduct towards Dylan as extremely inappropriate, while simultaneously dismissing accusations of sexual abuse.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share my perspective on a recent controversy. At 39, Dylan is unwavering in her accusations, yet her brother Moses, aged 47, has publicly refuted any past abuse claims against her. In a 2018 WordPress post, he even alleged that Dylan herself had been the abuser, casting a different light on the situation.
In 1997, the four-time Academy Award recipient got married to the Golden Globe honoree’s adoptive daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, who was the secret love interest since 1992. They later brought up two daughters of their own: Bechet Allen, aged 25, and Manzie Tio Allen, aged 24.
