Mia Farrow reveals what she REALLY thinks about celebrities who work with ex Woody Allen after scandals

As a seasoned artist and observer of life, it is truly heartening to see Woody Allen still creating art at the ripe age of 87. His resilience and dedication to his craft are nothing short of inspiring. The fact that he continues to work despite all the challenges he has faced in his personal and professional life is a testament to his indomitable spirit.

Mia Farrow persisted in challenging her reputation as a vengeful ex-lover by stating openly that she harbors no resentment toward the actors who choose to collaborate with her former partner of 11 years, Woody Allen.

“The actress, who is 79 years old, expressed that it’s perfectly fine for an actor to choose to collaborate with him,” she stated on CBS Sunday Morning.

‘I’m not one who’d say, “Oh, they shouldn’t.”‘

When host Seth Doane questioned whether she could differentiate between her acting roles in 13 films and the 88-year-old director’s life challenges versus their personal encounters, Mia (originally named Maria) responded affirmatively: “Absolutely, absolutely.”

In January 1992, Farrow was deeply hurt when she found out about Woody Allen’s (Allan Konigsberg) secret relationship with their 21-year-old adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. Seven months later, she publicly accused him of inappropriate behavior towards her seven-year-old adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.

A week afterward, Allen filed a lawsuit against the ex-star of Rosemary’s Baby, seeking sole custody over their child, Satchel (now known as Ronan), along with his adoptive siblings Dylan and Moses, despite no prior charges or trials being brought against him.

In a 33-page ruling from 1993, Judge Elliott Wilk dismissed the contentious request by the director for full custody over all three children. He labeled the director’s conduct toward Dylan as extremely unacceptable, and he did not find the sexual abuse accusations to be substantiated.

In the year 1997, Woody tied the knot with Soon-Yi and together they welcomed into their family two daughters: Bechet Allen (age 25) and Manzie Tio Allen (age 24).

Meanwhile, at 39 years old, Dylan supports the accusations. However, her 46-year-old brother, Moses, openly refuted these claims in a 2018 blog post on WordPress, instead asserting that Mia had abused him.

Notable figures such as Diane Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johansson, Cherry Jones, Bill Maher, Jude Law, Javier Bardem, Cate Blanchett, Gina Gershon, Jim Belushi, Juno Temple, Michael Caine, and Jeff Goldblum have openly expressed their support for Allen.

Actors including Kate Winslet, Drew Barrymore, Evan Rachel Wood, David Krumholtz, Greta Gerwig, Mira Sorvino, Rachel Brosnahan, Jeff Daniels, Peter Sarsgaard, Natalie Portman, Colin Firth, Hayley Atwell, Freida Pinto, Chloe Sevigny, and Marion Cotillard have publicly declared that they will not collaborate with the four-time Academy Award winner again.

As a devoted follower, I recall that Woody’s final American film, “A Rainy Day in New York,” premiered in 2019, coinciding with the height of the #MeToo movement. In a remarkable act of solidarity, the talented cast members – Elle Fanning, Selena Gomez, Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Hall, and Griffin Newman – chose to donate their earnings from this film to organizations that support survivors of sexual assault.

Previously, Allen departed for France to helm his 50th major production titled ‘Coup de Chance’. Regardless of positive critiques, the movie’s worldwide gross revenue was limited to $7.4 million.

In the upcoming Broadway one-act comedy “The Roommate,” Farrow will take on the role of a woman who receives a New Yorker (Patti LuPone) as a guest in her Iowa home. This play is currently in previews and will officially run from September 12 to December 15 at the Booth Theatre in Manhattan.

‘The fact that we’re even working now, that, to me, is success!’ the Golden Globe winner gushed.

‘I’m old, you know? I’m very good at doing nothing. It’s a gift. I’m endlessly entertaining to myself. I have good friends. I have no complaints.’
