Metaphor: ReFantazio Prologue Demo Now Available on Xbox Series X|S With Progression Transfer to Full Game
As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the rich, intricate worlds of Persona 3, 4, and 5, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Metaphor: ReFantazio by Studio Zero, helmed by the legendary Katsura Hashino. The announcement of a free Prologue Demo has sent my heart racing like a Summoner’s when they finally manage to land a critical hit on the final boss.
Today, Atlus unveiled a complimentary Prologue Demo for the highly-anticipated role-playing game, Metaphor: ReFantazio. This demo provides players with the initial four dungeons from the upcoming title, which was developed by the talented minds behind Persona 3, 4, and 5.
During TGS week, Studio Zero’s Game Director Katsura Hashino revealed a demo of the game, which includes the start of the story where you aim to lift “the prince’s curse.” Additionally, seven out of the game’s approximately 40 Archetype classes can be unlocked in this demo. Furthermore, it was confirmed that Jack Frost will appear as a demon that Summoner-type characters can summon in the complete version of the game.
The demo also includes six followers who’ll join the Protagonist on their journey as party members, and “much more”. Better still, progression from the demo can be carried over to the full version of Metaphor ReFantazio when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PS4, and PC on 11th October.
