Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 Has Been Confirmed, But its Contents Haven't Yet

As a long-time fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation upon hearing about Vol. 2 of the Master Collection. Having lived through the rocky launch of Vol. 1, I can only hope that Konami learns from their past mistakes and delivers a smoother experience this time around.

It has been confirmed by Konami, with no real shock to anyone, that Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 is in the works. Unfortunately, they haven’t shared specifics about what games will be part of it yet. However, they are aiming for a more seamless debut compared to the first volume.

Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed (via Eurogamer) that they are indeed working on Volume 2. He also expressed concern about the rocky launch of Volume 1 and promised to learn from those issues. However, he emphasized that they need patience as they strive to avoid repeating past mistakes.

In a recent video, Okamura, the producer for the upcoming “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater,” discussed the production of the forthcoming “Metal Gear Solid 3” remake. He mentioned that their approach aims to be overly devoted to recreating the 2004 original, preserving its original design.

Speaking as a dedicated gamer, I’m super pumped about the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2! From what I gather, we can expect to see Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in this collection. Interestingly, Okamura recently hinted at Metal Gear Solid 4 being part of the Master Collection just last month. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
