In February, the two were spotted at dinner with a group of friends in Santa Monica, before a fan captured a snap of them enjoying a performance of Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway the following month.
In May, Short addressed the rumors during an interview with People.

Approximately a few weeks into August, the pair added more fire to the speculation of their romantic connection as they were spotted intertwining fingers at the debut of the fourth season of “Only Murders in the Building” in Los Angeles.
