Maxine Horne, an investor on the TV show Shark Tank Australia, recently sold her luxury beach house on the Queensland coast for a reported $28.5 million.
In 2023, Horne, age 62 and co-founder of the Vita Group, purchased an empty lot of land in Noosa for $12.5 million.
She then constructed a large, three-story house designed as an investment property. It boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and stunning ocean views.
Although the specifics of the sale haven’t been made public, a real estate agent involved confirmed to The Courier-Mail that Horne received the highest price for a property in the area this year, 2025.
A sale of another luxury home in nearby Noosa Heads back in July fetched $26.845 million.
Although Horne’s house didn’t sell at auction on December 6th, it was sold later in the month, soon after the sale was finalized.

Maravilla, a stunning resort-style home owned by Horne, is located right near the ocean at Sunrise Beach, a beautiful spot on the Sunshine Coast, 160 kilometers north of Brisbane.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always excited to see homes that really connect with their surroundings, and this one does it beautifully. The design really emphasizes the view with high ceilings and large windows – it creates such an open and airy feeling and brings the outdoors in. It’s all about maximizing that connection to the landscape!
The ground floor includes a wet bar, wine cellar, and a living area that flows out into beautifully maintained gardens.
The building includes a wellness area with a gym, a cold plunge pool, a spa, a five-person infrared sauna, and a changing room.
The second floor includes a large main bedroom that fills an entire corner of the house. It has its own walk-in closet and a luxurious bathroom.
The kitchen and dining area are located on the upper level, with direct access to a pool deck and a covered outdoor terrace.
The infinity pool offers stunning views as well as two built-in custom day beds.

The home features beautiful design details, including French oak and grey marble in the kitchen, and smooth, polished walls.
Okay, so I’ve been following Naomi Horne for ages, and she’s absolutely incredible! She’s a self-made millionaire – seriously, they say she’s worth around $900 million! – and I was SO excited when she showed up on the new season of Shark Tank Australia this year. I mean, she’s a total powerhouse and seeing her on the show was a dream come true!

She made a significant profit last year by selling a house in New Farm, Brisbane, for $18 million. She originally bought the property in 2016 for $10.5 million.
