I’m so excited! AstralRide just released Merchant of the Skies on mobile – it’s finally available on both Android and iOS! You can get this cozy airship trading sim for $7.99. I played it on PC back in 2020 and absolutely loved it, so I’m thrilled it’s come to mobile. They only opened up pre-registration last month, and it’s already here – that was fast! It’s a really great indie game, and I can’t wait to play it on the go.
Explore the skies as a sky captain and build your trading empire
Merchant of the Skies is now available on mobile! This relaxing game lets you build a trading empire by becoming a sky captain, establishing automated trade routes, and expanding your base across beautiful, open skies. It’s a fun mix of tycoon-style gameplay, trading, and management.
Ultimately, success depends on thinking like a trader, not just a spaceship pilot. Just like in real life, you’ll need to buy resources when prices are low, sell when they’re high, and slowly discover the most profitable trade routes as the market changes. What keeps it interesting, though, is the blend of this economic gameplay with exploration – you’ll encounter unique characters and hidden secrets as you travel.
You can buy islands, create passive income sources, build a mansion, and more
The more successful you become, the more enjoyable the game is. You’ll be able to splurge on things like islands, create complex production systems, and even set up automated trade routes for a steady income. Then, you can really focus on creativity and build the house of your dreams with a huge variety of building materials.
I think this game is well worth checking out. It offers a good amount of content – around 6 to 8 hours of story mode, plus a completely open sandbox mode where you can build and explore. You’ll find engaging quests, a charming art style, lots of different airships, a world that changes every time you play, and interesting events. While it’s a little pricey, the fact that it doesn’t have any ads makes up for it.
You can now download Merchant of the Skies on both Android and iOS devices for just $7.99. It’s available on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
