Actress Courtney Thorne-Smith has formally submitted divorce papers against her husband, Roger Fishman, which comes almost four years following the reported end of their union.
As reported by TMZ from recently submitted court papers, it appears that Heather Locklear Thompson-Smith, aged 56, has cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the cause of their separation.
Without a lawyer’s help, she handed in the necessary documents, marking the date they parted ways as September 1, 2021 – implying that the couple has likely been living separately for a considerable duration prior to this date.
In 2007, on New Year’s Day, Thorne-Smith and Fishman got married, and in the subsequent year, they were blessed with their sole child, named Jacob Emerson Fishman.
At 17 years old, Jacob is on the brink of adulthood. However, the actor famous for his role in Melrose Place has asked for shared legal and physical custody during the divorce process, as reported by the source.
As your trusted lifestyle advisor, I find myself advocating for a modification in our legal proceedings. Specifically, I’m requesting the court to revoke its power to grant either of us alimony. This decision is part of my broader strategy to streamline and simplify our divorce process.

This marks the actress’s second marriage.
In the early 2000s, she was married to Andrew Conrad, a well-known geneticist, for a brief period, and in the 1990s, she had a high-profile relationship with her Melrose Place co-star, Andrew Shue.
