Mel B’s daughter Phoenix Chi Brown ‘lands huge new show’ after the success of her Celebrity Gogglebox stint with her mother
As a follower with a keen eye for celebrity lives and a soft spot for artistic pursuits, I must say I am thrilled to see Phoenix Chi Brown stepping into the limelight. Her journey mirrors her mother Mel B’s own path from fame to a new chapter, albeit in a different realm – art. It’s refreshing to witness the determination of a young woman who doesn’t want to ride on the coattails of nepotism but carve out her own credibility.
As an enthusiastic admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Phoenix Chi Brown, Mel B’s daughter, seems to have secured a significant new television opportunity following her successful run on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside her mom.
In the recently broadcasted sixth season of Celebrity Gogglebox, running from June to July, Phoenix (aged 25) shared the screen with Mel (aged 49).
Now, as reported by The Sun, she will feature in a Channel 4 documentary that showcases emerging artists as they strive to enter and conquer the music industry.
It’s been reported that Phoenix is currently developing a unique television movie centered around her character’s journey, as she strives to make a name for herself in the competitive art industry.
As she unveils her debut collection to the public, she’s determined to avoid being labeled as a “nepotism baby”. Instead, she aims to establish herself as a legitimate artist. This documentary will offer a glimpse into her tireless work ethic.
Stoking speculation, Phoenix recently posted on her Instagram account, “Announcing my upcoming exhibition, EMOSH, which opens next week at the Sarah Kravitz gallery.
Phoenix’s reps have been contacted for comment.
Phoenix, who was once a disc jockey but now works as an artist, is the eldest child of Mel, born during her brief union with backup dancer Jimmy Gulzar from the Netherlands.
Apart from Angel Murphy Brown, who is 17 years old and shares the same father as Eddie Murphy, and Madison Brown Belafonte, age 11, Mel also has another daughter from her previous marriage with Stephen Belafonte.
Originally from Leeds, Mel previously characterized her firstborn, Phoenix (who was raised in the U.S.), as “remarkably insightful.” This trait is sure to shine through during the show.
The women have a strong connection, often times Phoenix impersonates Mel during her Spice Girls peak era.
They could simultaneously appear on TV, as it’s been verified that Mel will be part of the Bear Hunt team, headed by Bear Grylls and Holly Willoughby.
In Costa Rica, a thrilling £10 million Netflix series titled “Bear Hunt” has been produced, featuring well-known British personalities who will encounter each other deep within the jungle.
The challenging reality competition series will feature tennis legend Boris Becker, Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, and rugby icon Danny Cipriani, along with several other notable personalities.
In her absence, it will be Rory McPhee, her soon-to-be husband, who will be noticeably missing at the wedding taking place in St. Paul’s Cathedral. The dress she was to wear, a creation of Victoria Beckham, would have adorned her on that special day.
In the past, Mel was married not once but twice. Her first husband was Jimmy, the father of Phoenix, between the years 1998 and 2000. Later on, from 2007 until 2017, she was married to Stephen, who is the father of Madison.
I, a fervent admirer, have to mention that she’s been romantically linked with the talented English actor, Max Beesley. At present, he’s gracing our screens in the blockbuster film, The Gentlemen, directed by none other than Guy Ritchie. What a pairing!
