Mel B shared photos of her honeymoon in Mauritius with her husband, Rory McPhee, this weekend. The couple married six months ago.
Mel B, the former Spice Girl, is enjoying a luxurious getaway with her husband, Rory, at the five-star Shangri-La Le Touessrok resort. Rooms at the resort start at £500 a night.
This resort provides a luxurious experience with gourmet dining, stunning beaches, a variety of water and land activities, and a peaceful spa.
Mel caught everyone’s attention with a playful photo of herself sunbathing in a blue thong bikini, going topless while relaxing on a beach lounger.
In a fun video, Rory playfully tapped his wife’s rear while they enjoyed the sunshine together.
Mel posted a cute selfie with her husband as they went out, and later shared a romantic video of them kissing during dinner.
Their honeymoon seemed full of fun and adventure, with activities like paddleboarding on the water.
Mel looked fantastic in a small, olive green bikini while skillfully balancing on a paddleboard. Later, Rory was seen jumping off a boat and swimming in the clear, blue water.
The singer shared another eye-catching photo, this time wearing a leopard-print bikini while posing on a boat.
Mel showed off her playful side while at the beach, playfully jumping in the air wearing a leopard-print bikini top and zebra-print bottoms.
Mel shared photos from her honeymoon on Instagram with the caption: ‘FINALLY! We escaped for January and completely lost ourselves in each other at the magical Shangri-La Mauritius – our long-awaited honeymoon!’ ❤️
The Spice Girl and her hairdresser husband renewed their vows in a heartfelt ceremony outdoors in Marrakesh, following their initial wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London a few weeks prior.
Mel previously told HELLO! Magazine that she and Rory both cried tears of joy during their wedding, which was attended by guests including her Spice Girls bandmate, Mel C.
Mel’s daughters and son all had special parts in the wedding. Her oldest, Phoenix, 26, walked her down the aisle, while her middle child, Angel, 18, was a groomsman. Thirteen-year-old Madison served as a bridesmaid.
She shared that the day meant everything to her, describing it as incredibly special and filled with love. It was even better than they had hoped for.
Mel looked radiant in a beautiful, see-through red gown by Justin Alexander. The dress featured a high slit and was intricately covered in sparkling red crystals and beads. It took six skilled artisans over 850 hours to create.
Caroline Black of Evelie Bridal in London provided the dress, which was beautifully finished with a long, cathedral-style veil inspired by Moroccan designs and highlighted with red crystals.
Mel explained that she chose to wear a red dress as a tribute to the culture of Morocco.
She described wanting to appear as a radiant, red-haired mermaid as the sun set, as if she were floating and adorned with ruby jewels.
‘Morocco has that very red va-va-voom – it’s passionate and spiritual.’
On the dance floor a little later, Mel B and Mel C spontaneously started singing the Spice Girls’ song “Holler.”
Sporty Spice missed her bandmate’s initial wedding in London, where Emma Bunton was a guest, but she made it to the second wedding celebration in Marrakech to support her friend.
‘It was great to have my fellow northerner Mel C there,’ Mel said.
Honestly, that weekend was pure magic! We all just let loose and had the time of our lives – the energy when Holler started playing was incredible! It meant so much because I’ve known her forever, my whole family adores her, and getting to share that special time with her and Chris, her partner, was just wonderful. It felt like a true celebration of our years of friendship.
